We cook ancient and contemporary Peruvian Creole food, and honor the tradition and culture of Lima. We imprint flavor onto high-level products, sometimes with a slow burn and other times with a vivid flame. One thing remains unchanged: we cook with the same passion our grandmothers did and preserve their seasoning. Our cuisine is bold, roguish and generous, just like Marthita, our chef, who is as mischievous as a good jarana limeña.
A difficult review in some ways. Our arrival led us to a table under the ac pipe that was dripping water onto us. We were then ignored for 15 minutes. We eventually got a change of table. Then our waitress (Naomi) was excellent great recommendations,...big portions think about sharing plates as they are quite big. Pisco sours okay but by no means the best. The restaurant emptied out and we found ourselves being tidied around as the staff closed up. The food was good, our waitress was great but our overall experience was let down by table allocation and closing up around us. This was 5.30pm on a Sunday. Give it a go but I’d struggle to return.More
Had a great meal with excellent service. Four of us ordered 4 different dishes and each one was delicious. Menu has many choices I wish I had time to try. I highly recommend you try this restaurant if you are nearby.
We decided to visit Panchita for the fourth time but this time to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we were 9 family members, the food was as always excellent and delicious and we spent almost 900 soles, but the most disappointing thing was that I made...the reservation in advance stating that we would celebrate our Anniversary, upon arrival it is sneakily remembered by the receptionist and the innkeepers so that my wife did not notice it, so that at the end of the day or in the desserts we asked for they would mention it or place some special detail, it was quite sad considering that we love going to the restaurants of Gaston Acurio (Tanta, Madan Tuso, La Mar in Miami, Chichas and Papachos in Cusco) and of all the experiences this has been the most disappointing NOT FOR THE FOOD, but for the little importance that the staff gave to our celebration.More
So so good! Everything was delicious. Every dish is very well served so we shared them We had ceviche, octopus anticuchos, papas rellenas, lechón crocante, seared tuna, and artesanal bread .... ooooh the bread you must, it’s celestial. Everyone working there was so nice and...happy to help us store our luggage since we got there straight from the airport. Don’t miss it while visiting Lima.More

Great food great service great prices.
Hint ask to buy the bottle of the house red/white. Best deal.
If solo like me order off the app menu and bring some zip lock bags for snacking.

I am sorry I do not remember the prices of dishes. However, compared to international prices Panchita is a bargain, great food at moderate prices. Think spending around $20 per selection. If you stay away of alcoholic drinks the meals are reasonable. Last time I was there (3 weeks ago) I had a magnificent soup for around $18. That dish was more than enough for me, and I am not a dainty eater.
