It was in Miraflores, a good lunch for a reasonable price. Their sea food is very good, especially the "Piqueo" which is an appetizer made of several kind of shells and fish. Main dishes are fish with a very good sauce and local vegetables. Some typical deserts as well. And try their Pisco sour, well balanced and the maracuya juice as typically Peruvian. The only bad point is that they have so many clients that you might have to wait for a table after 12h30, and they gently push you out after you finish your meal.

Best Seafood in Lima and inexpensive

I have lived in Lima for 12 years and this is the best seafood restaurant in Lima. It is also popular with the locals and it is not expensive. We are regular customers. The only suggestion for the restaurant is that they offer some non seafood options. My GF loves seafood, but sometimes I want a hamburger.

Worth the hype

Great food and atmosphere. We saw queues when we were passing it so chose to go for lunch and late dinner when we were seated almost immediately. The seafood and the fettuchini are delicious, one of our best meals in Peru.

It was our last evening in Lima and the restaurant was recommended by the concierge. It was a good suggestion as we had a great time with quality seafood food, wine and good service especially from Wilma, who greeted everyone with great smile and excellent food recommendation. Wish we could spent another evening at the same place.

Delicious meal at Punto Azul. Pisco sours. Ceviche de Pescado. Grilled Octopus, and a croquette with prawns instead of desert because I couldn't resist. Everything was superb but the octopus was the highlight and some of the best I've ever had. Wilmur was our waiter and the perfect host. He gave helpful insights to the various dishes and portion sizes (which i ignored (hence the croquette)), made us feel very welcome and was the perfect host. Definitely would recommend, though if going on the weekend maybe phone ahead. Thanks Wilmur and all the PA team.

The food is of very good quality in this restaurant. I have wanted to go to Peru for a long time and one of the reasons is its food. I think I have visited all the Peruvian restaurants in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Everything I tasted at Punto Azul was exquisite. The presentation of the dishes is very good. What pleased me most was the attention from the moment we arrived, the waiters are very attentive, they explained the menu and warned us that we were ordering a lot of food, which I thanked them for but I actually wanted to taste several of the dishes. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I visit Lima again.

Punto Azul is one of the best restaurants in Lima. The menu is very complete, we returned a second time and all the dishes are delicious and very large. The service is great, the waiters are very attentive and the restaurant takes care of details such as special attention during the wait.

My wife and I have just returned from dining at Puntu Azul, Miraflores. We took the advice of Francisco the concierge at Casa Andina Premium and we could not be more pleased and satisfied. The atmosphere and general vibe were inviting and welcoming. Our waiter Wilmer did something I have never experienced. While ordering he cautioned me about ordering too much food! Fortunately I followed his advice and we were glad that we did. I had the grilled octopus 🐙 and I can honestly say it is the absolute best I have ever had, just as Wilmer had promised. My wife had the fettuccini and fried shrimp which she raved about. Thank you Wilmer for your sound advice. I will need to return soon to try the scallops and Parmesan cheese that you wisely suggested would be too much food. And thank you Francisco for your advice and assistance.

Affordable & Exceptional Seafood

Absolutely loved this local seafood destination. We were a party of 5 that shared 3 entrees, a bottle of wine, water and a beer for less than $15/ person! The said ink risotto, ceviche and tiradito were excellent!!

When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait 40 minutes for a table to be vacated. Once seated, the dishes arrived 20 minutes apart, forcing us to eat separately instead of enjoying the meal in company, as expected. I ordered a sautéed loin with the meat ready, but they served me the dried and reheated meat, giving the Impression that it was a dish discarded from another diner. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. Bad experience.

Being on a reservation for 23 people the place was prepared for 20 really small persons. Big mess and no pro active approach from their staff to correct the situation, nothing!!! No idea if the food is good, I might find out next hour. But enough to know already: NI TIP, NO RETURN ever, forget about the place!!!

An excellent seafood restaurant with best value

Outstanding seafood restaurant. Always a long waiting line but no reservations needed. The manager is very nice. She helped me with patience even I can's speak Spanish. All real seafood restaurants in Lima only offer lunch, so be sure arrival time is between 12 and 4PM. They do not open on Sunday.

Very nice restaurant in the Miraflores district. Welcome and friendly service. Very good and hearty dishes but even if you are "fed", succumb to a dessert 😋 Arrive around noon, otherwise after a waiting time during which you can be offered a small drink.

A must visit restaurant!

Everything about this restaurant was great. Our waiter, Jose Luis Mareno, was amazing. He knew what we needed before we did. When I complimented him about the salsa, he brought out two of the peppers that they use in it. The food was incredible! The service was quick despite a full restaurant. You better be hungry because the serving sizes are huge. The prices were very reasonable!

The food is excellent and much more the attention of the staff. José Luis Moreno always served me very attentively and recommended the dishes to eat. I went to dinner at 7 and got the last table. Then there was waiting. But it's worth the wait.
