Lovely little multistory restaurant that overlooks the cliffs of the coastline. Terrific ceviche and appetizers. Very friendly and service oriented staff.

First of all, I was born in the seaport of Callao, where one grows up having Cebiche, because that is the way it is. Thus, we are extremely selective about the quality of same. So, whenever I am in Lima, I make a point to stop in Punta Sal. Adolfo Perret (owner) is an old friend and is good (and... More

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch one afternoon. We'd called ahea to reserve a 3rd floor table by the window, which was great advice. Picture sitting outside, overlooking the ocean, smelling the salt air, dinking a cold beer, and having some of the best ceviche in the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the menu... Tried Puntal sal several times. Service is not good. Ordered drinks several times with no answer! Fish Carpaccio was good. Parmesan scallops ok. "Chita Frita" Deep fried fish was delicious. Mediocre overall. Hope their service gets better.

Building is perched on a corner of the Malecon overlooking a park and the Pacific Ocean. Staff did their utmost to get us seated despite the large crowd. The 4 rooms are small from the basement to the 3rd floor. Try to get seated by a window. Service was a bit slow, probably due to the number of customers.

Food is awesome, but you will wait awhile. It's Ok, though, because you can watch the hang-gliders and the beach right out of the window.

This was the second restaurant we did in Lima (and Peru, for that matter). Must say I was a bit disappointed with the level of refinement of Lima cuisine. I had a decent meal here: both starter and main were acceptable, but not wow.

Great ceviche! Great service! Great Pisco Sour! Ask for a table on the balcony, bit windy but wonderful view!

I tried this place based on a recommendation from the front desk at our hotel. I had ceviche and pulpo de oliva. If I had to have a last meal, I would want it to be ceviche from Punta Sal. It was so fresh and flavourful. Some neighbouring diners recommended we try the Pisco Sour. It was our first time... More

We had a long layover in Lima, and asked a stewardess where to go, and she recommended Punta Sal with no hesitation. We were not disappointed. The ceviche was delicious. Spectacular. The view (we sat on the third floor) was tremendous. It felt a little pricey compared to what else we ate in Peru, but when you figure that some... More
