One of our highlights of visiting Lima was seeing the Larco Museum with its Peruvian Pre-Columbian artifacts. Connected to the Museum is the café, an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Reservations are not required, but many do make reservations to secure a spot—just in case. One does not have to see the museum in order to visit the café.
Our Hilton Hotel was in Miraflores which meant a 30-minute Uber ride to the museum—well worth every minute. We made reservations, but was able to secure a table an hour ahead as we had already had viewed the museum.
Our servers could speak English and there is an English menu. Our service was outstanding.
Many of the tables—with white tablecloths-- are next to a picturesque garden. A small glass with a Bougainvillea flower decorated the table. The setting was so simple, but so very beautiful at the same time. This ambiance is something one does not get to experience in the States. We felt like royalty.
My wife enjoyed the Chicken soup with vegetables with pasta. I ordered the “Lomo Saltado” which are Tenderloin strips stir fried in a wok with vegetables. On the side was fries and rice with corn. It was absolutely delicious and I would go back just for this dish again. The meat was so tender and flavorful.

We were very happy with the choice of this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's 25th birthday. The place is very nice, it is a quiet atmosphere and very careful attention from the staff from the hostess to the waiter. The dishes we choose, although somewhat expensive, are good tasting and good presentation, the portions are somewhat small but personal enough, but if you go with the idea of eating plenty this would not be the right place.
My family was delighted with everything and my baby especially with desserts.
I will go again, the few photos we could take came out great with the garden in the background.

The experience was amazing, from reception to the end!
After visiting the Larco Museum, which is wonderful, we went to dinner at the Café Museo Larco. We were very well served by Alonso, who was extremely attentive and suggested us a great wine. Since we were not so hungry, we ate some entries (piqueos), all delicious. We will definitely return on our next trip to Peru!

I travel for work and made a reservation over a month in advance for 4 people. We arrived and despite an abundance of tables by the garden we were brought into a room away from the garden. I asked if we could sit closer to the garden. The host told us we could go to the bar and wait for probably up to an hour. We sat at the bar where nobody asked us if we would like anything. After ten minutes we were brought to a table outside and given menus. Two parties were seated after us and were served bread and drinks while we still had not received anything. The host walked by and I pointed this out and he informed the two separate parties were part of a travel agency reservation and it was part of their package. We placed our orders and the the server Lenin who was very nice informed us they were going to comp an appetizer for the delay. When the food finally came out it was cold and not cooked thoroughly. They gave us some cookies and again apologized for the delay. The grounds are beautiful but it was a disappointing experience.

I took 4 guests from abroad and we ordered 2 club sandwiches to share and I was surprised since in that type of sandwich there are 4 triangles on each plate, since here they only gave us two mini triangles with unpeeled fries on each plate. and their price was 39.00 each, it is a scam. In all restaurants the club sandwich is 4 triangles. I didn't complain for not making my guests feel bad, but they disappointed me.

Timed my visit to the Museo Larco so I could have lunch here, in their beautiful garden setting. The food was wonderful and Aldo my server was very helpful in suggesting local dishes since that was what I wanted to have. Everything was delicious. I would eat at the restaurant again without visiting the museum, it is really that good.

Nice stop for a meal before or after visiting the museum. Delicious dishes costing an average of 60-70 soles per person. The place is beautiful and the service is courteous and quick. Worth the visit.

This restaurant is a gem. It is located inside the Museo Larco. It has a few indoors areas a beautiful decorated room, a terrace and a patio. I love to sit in the patio area as you can overlook the garden, which has some typical Lima’s flowers (Bungavilias) . Although you should make a reservation, walk ins are also welcomed. The food, is what in Peru is called criolla. But you might find some Italian style dishes with peruvian flavors ( such as the loche ravioli). We had the lomo saltado rissoto, Andino cheese tequenos and Aji de gallina. All these dishes were delicious and tasty. The meat was tender , the rice was perfectly cooked, and the aji de gallina had that home flavor that make it just perfect. After that we got some coffee, which I strongly recommend. The service was amazing, Diana our waitress was very attentive and helped me to decide what to had for lunch. She was very professional and soft spoken, she also explained some of the dishes as i wanted to know the size of the dishes. Overall a great experience, wonderful ambiance and amazing food.

Really beautiful garden and pretty decorations. Great place to have lunch after visiting the Museo Larco. We ordered the Piqueo Limeño which is a great way to explore the local cuisine. Reservations recommended, we came on a Wednesday at noon and the place was pretty much full.

The food was truly exquisite. We first ordered delicious ceviche with just the right amount of spicy rocoto and then risotto with fillet that was incredibly delicious. The tender meat. The flavors of the meat mixed with the rice. It is something you have to try. A highly recommended dish. Finally, the must-see dessert. soft, sweet, enveloping Lima sigh to close an incredible lunch. The only thing was the person who served us who didn't wait for us to finish before starting to pick up.

We visited the Larco museum restaurant for lunch. The place is fantastic, as the tables are under a kind of gazebo, surrounded by plants and gardens.
The attention was very good, and the dishes that we chose were very well presented and of high quality.
An excellent choice for lunch

A large group went for lunch. The service was quite slow, not because of the large group, but the wait staff seemed to be going around in circles and not actually doing what they should be doing. Drinks to ages to order and longer to be served, similar with teh meals. But once the starter was served other meals were served rather promptly.
The food served was of generous portions and quite nice.

It is a restaurant-cafe attached to the Larco Museum. Unfortunately, the museum did not have time to see it. The colorful bougainvillea was in full bloom. The food on the terrace with a view of the garden was very atmospheric and the food was stylish and delicious. It was a nice restaurant I had a feeling from the moment I walked in.
