Very nice place to have lunch or diner after the visit of the museum Larco which is one the must see in Lima. Waiters are speaking very well English, and can also help you in Italian, French, German for what I have heard. Israel, our...waiter, was very helpful giving advice on things to see and do around. Very nice experience! We had salmon tartar and then Lomo saltado, a classic, that was delicious.More

I don't need to write a lot to tell you that in this place they will treat you awful if you are not white. I waited to be helped for about 40 minutes, in that time I saw white people getting in, being helped and...even finishing their food while I was still waiting. The server was extremely rude with us, he was super nice and all smiles to other tourists (white) but with us (brown) nope, it was like we were bothering him. at the end we left without any food, it completely ruined our day.More

Visiting "Museo Larco" is absolutely unmissable at any trip to Lima. And any visit to this awesome museum must include a meal at its five-star "Museo Larco Café Restaurant". At a cozy atmosphere, surrounded by gardens and beautiful flowering bougainvilleas, unforgettable dishes of Peruvian and...international cuisines, including exquisite desserts. Extremely friendly service makes you feel immediately at home. Thank you, Johnny, for your outstanding help. A sophisticated drinks menu, with the traditional Peruvian "Pisco" and excellent local wines, as well as wines from other countries. Prices? On the expensive side, but affordable and you will certainly enjoy every minute spent at "Museo Larco Café Restaurant". Bon Appétit!More

Most museum restaurants are offered only as a convenience with overpriced, average quality food. This cafe is far superior and could stand on its own as a great restaurant. We had a very nice group lunch here. The decor/atmosphere were pleasant with great service and...delicious food. Typical Peruvian menu. Started with a pisco sour (always great) then Causa Rellena (layered appetizer of mashed potatoes & chicken salad). Lomo Saltado (beef stew) and Lucuma for dessert. Try to include this as part of your visit to the Museum.More

Excellent food and wonderful location in garden full of bougainvilleas. The place is so peaceful, it s hard to believe that you are in Lima. It s a little bit costly, but it’s worth it. I highly recommend.

It has a lovely atmosphere set in the luscious garden of Museo Larco. Great service and the chef is kind enough to ask you about the meals. I had an exquisite duck cebiche, not as the usual cebiche with lots of lime but very fine...dish. Soups are also very good, and fine teas. Excellent for dinner, when the sun goes down and the candles are lit. Beautiful view to the garden.More

As I mentioned in my Museo Larco review, I was given a private tour followed by dinner... my dinner was not private. I was graciously welcomed and offered a Pisco Sour [yummy} seated outside [perfect] surrounded by bougainvillea everywhere, sadly no floral sent, that was...the only thing I wish was different from my entire evening. Every single staff member that approached my table was more warm and friendlier then the last and their attention to detail was spot on and elegantly presented, the same goes for every dish that arrived to my table, cooked to perfection and OMG so, so plate licking worthy. I began with a garden salad so fresh, next a lovely tomato based soup and my entree was a succulent chicken and herbs dish that gave me goosebumps at first bite... a red wine recommendation was offered and ended up complimenting my meal to perfection. Not being a big dessert orderer, I instead opted to make my last glass of wine the perfect dessert to complete my perfect dining adventure. I highly recommend an afternoon or evening museum tour followed by savory meal and al fresco dining experience at Museo Larco. Enjoy every adventure ahead of you and the diversity our planet offersMore

This Cafe is a part of the outstanding Museo Larco, but open to all. We found some of the best Peruvian dishes of our 10 day trip. The Calamari appetizer was generous and perfectly cooked (35 soles / US $11). Green noodles and beef ("Spaghettini...in a basil, spinach, cheese and pecans home-style sauce with a thin breaded sirloin paillard.") was "amazing" at 45 soles (US $13.50). The sea bass "In a clay pot, a steamed sea bass filet cooked in its own juices seasoned with mild Peruvian spices; and accompanied by yuca and rice with corn." was also unique and delicious (49 soles / US $14.70). Coffee Americano was 8 soles. A glass of French white wine was 23 soles. Highly recommend a 3+ hour visit here. Travel note: this is slightly off the tourist path, but a short cab or Uber ride to hotels, etc. After 8 days in the chilly high Andes, we enjoyed the outdoor seating in the warm February sun.More

One of my favorite stops in Lima. If you haven't been to the Museo Larco yourself, or have the excuse to bring someone there to see it, this cafe is a must! For a dessert (the lucuma mousse is delicous) and a glass of wine,...for lunch or for a full dinner, the food is great, the staff is friendly and the ambience (a terrace in a beautiful garden) can't be beat!More
