We stopped at the bistro for a beer in the late afternoon and then came back later for dinner On both occasions we sat outside looking over where the river was and seeing all the goings on without the annoying noise and fumes of the tuktuks We both had fish. My trout was amazing The service was very friendly and... More

The cafe con leche was the best that I had in Iquitos. Friendly staff, chilled atmosphere - free wifi and they don't rush to get you out of the restaurant. Comfortable surroundings however the food, in my opinion, was so-so. There isn't anything particularly special about their menu however the staff and ambience trumped the food and pushes the rating... More

I had the Loma Saltado. It was quite tasty and came with french fries that were way better than I expected - the real deal. We didn't go inside - just sat at the sidewalk tables. Good food, cold cerveza, reasonable prices, good service.

Iquitos is not a culinary capital of the world, that much is clear. Amazon Bistro is nice, but in my opinion the only reason it has such a high rating is because the options are so severely limited.

Nice atmosphere with French style food. Many travelers frequent. Great ice tea! Comfortable and clean. Nice patio on the promenade.

Four of us had excellent meals here. The bistro is a great place to relax and enjoy. Seating outside and on two levels inside.

We went to Amazon Bistro the first night we got to Iquitos for dinner and returned a few times due to good food, fair prices, great ambiance (good mix of locals/expats and visiting tourists), and exceptional friendliness of waitress/waiting staff. Usually we do not go to the same place while traveling, but made an exception here because Amazon Bistro is... More

The food was fantastic after spending two weeks in an isolated community, however, service was really slow and we were not aware they only took sols at the time... some of our group only had american on them. Decent restaurant.

The food at Amazon Bistro is consistently great. It's relatively affordable even for budget conscious travellers. My love of the place stems from the renovation of this former Rubber Boom era bank over 100 years ago into a beautiful bistro today. The original site was the bank owned by Julio Cesar Arana, notorious rubber baron and villain of the tales... More

I came with a group of friends after spending a week in the jungle. We just wanted to find some delicious meals and we definitely found it here! They don't really speak English, but the menu comes on an iPad which translates your order which is such a good idea! We all shared our food, so I can tell you... More
