We had ice cream!

Did you mama tell you that ice cream does not count as dinner? So did mine, but I was in Iquitos and she wasn't, so what was she going to do about it? The first night I had a mint chocolate chip cone from the outdoor vendor (2 soles); the second night we had guanabana ice cream in a bowl... read more

The menu is about ten pages... Local Peruvian meals and North American food too. Televisions playing soccer games, Spanish dubbed North American movies... Located adjacent the park in the centre of Iquitos... A great place to sit for hours and watch a wide array of sights... Or, hang out... Noisy location, but vibrant large space. Fun, good food...

You cannot miss Ari´s. It sits literally on the square and with traffic buzzing by on both sides and with no walls to buffer the cacophany of TukTuks why anyone would sit and eat is totally lost on me. I am told the food was good, but all I could have was some delicious cake and ice cream. I tried... More

Wait staff is friendly and fast. Nice place to stop in the evening for a refreshing ice cream shake after a hard day in the Amazonian jungle. :)

This restaurant was OK but not great. Service was a bit slow. The place was busy and in a good location.

This place is a must go. It is a cross between a burger joint, and a jungle eatery. They serve the BEST juices all made fresh when you order. You can eat there for a week, and have a different juice each meal. They also serve a real Americano breakfast which is hard to find in the area. I just have... More

Dont forget you will have to ask for the bill at the end of the meal. It wont be brought automatically. Its a... More

Went here for breakfast and a normal coffee, juice and toasted sandwich was 11 soles, european prices. Not bad for a treat but not for everyday! You can easily go to a less touristy place and have breakfast for 5s, like the bar inside "los portales" supermarket. Plus, the internet was rubbish, had to use the public one. Service wasn't...
