Great spot for a really yummy ice cream and people watching around the (at times) chaotic plaza de armas.

went here 4 times within a week, from breakfast to dinner. food is decent and wide choice available, ask for recommendations! Fairly large portions considered the price of it, tasty and freshly made in the kitchen in the back of the restaurant. service was a bit slow at peak times, but hey, its Peru!

I have spent time in Iquitos, Peru every year for the past 14 years, and on every visit I make it a point to have at least one meal at Ari's! The food is well prepared, with some great local dishes and the service is exceptional. I usually travel with a group and most evenings we walk to the Plaza... More

Guys, you should go there, the dishes, the prices and the service are great. I've tried some dishes and I fell in love. I want to go back there now.

You can't get much closer to the centre without being IN the square itself - which is exactly where Ari's is located. The menu is vast and you could spend a fortune in here, but if you keep it simple and have chicken or something off the 'economical menu' then you'll be fine. Speed of service is so-so but there... This place was mentioned a lot by my driver and also by a friend of his, but I did not feel the same after ordering food there. The girl at the counter laughed when I said I did not eat meat. They botched my first order and I had to return and get a refund as they said all of... More

Having used to live in Iquitos, Ari's is a restaurant to which we've been many times. Located on the Plaza de Armas (main square) and just a block from the riverfront, this icon of Iquitos dining is always buzzing with activity, day and night. The decor is strictly Amazonian, and there is a distinctly Old-Town air to the establishment, always... More

The coffee is terrible. The food is 99% fried in ageing oil and the service is as slow as a wet week. A good place to completely ignore.

Visited there mainly for ice cream which was delicious. It is very poplar with the locals as well. When we were there it was so very crowded we just got ice cream.

Ari's Burger, facing the Plaza de Armas, was convenient and popular. Its merit was the opening hours: 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. the next morning; however, we found the food mediocre.
