We absolutely loved this place for a quick and cheap dessert spot. The ladies that run this place always provide a great service when you arrive. A great way to end the night and certainly something you should do at least once while in Cusco

These sweet potato based picarones are simply delicious. And the owner I knew when she was a small girl and her mom started the place. Been coming here since the 80s. Don’t miss it. Skip your dessert at dinner at an expensive place and come...More

Safe bet in Cusco for desert. Their chicha morada (purple corn drink) is delicious. Service is fast. Price is 1$ for a serving so easy to do as often as you fancy!

I ate picarones for the first time in cusco and relished them with miel de maracuya. The lady selling them convinced me they were gluten free. I am celiac and was delighted to have found a local gf snack that tasted very good. And the...More

After first trying picarones in Lima and falling in love with the delicious fried donuts drizzled in some sort of honey syrup, it was not going to be the last time we had them! When we got to Cusco the only place we found that...More

The secret is in the dough, sweet potato flour, with local honey on top! It is the perfect dessert (or dinner if you are full after a large lunch). I have eaten picarones here since 1982. They have never been less than delicious! The place...More
