The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! The waiter spoke very good English to help us select our meals. They gave us samples of their Chicha de Nora and I loved it so much but wasn’t feeling up to drinking a big glass...of it he gave me a little extra! I highly recommend this restaurant to try Alpaca steaks!More

This restaurant was close to my hotel and was quiet when I stopped by for an early dinner. I decided to get the alpaca which was delicious along with the sides it came with. I also enjoyed the complimentary samples. Service was quick and friendly.

One of the best places in Cuzco for Cuy (Guinea Pig). For the faint of heart they will ask you if you want it served head or no head. If you enjoy beef jerky and dry ribs or chicken wings you'll love Cuy. Great Pisco...Sours. Love the historical and table side mixing.More

We happened upon this place while walking the town. It was not busy, but we were there mid-afternoon. Though our server didn't speak much English, we managed just fine and the chef came out to confirm our order and then again after the meal, for...a nice chat. We enjoyed roast pork and ceviche and both were excellent.More

Great local restaurant. The meal was an experience, they mixed our Pisco Sour at the table and presented the Cuy (Guinea Pig) whole before taking it back to the kitchen to remove the head (optional). It was delicious! Service was exceptional.More

Stumbled upon this place walking from Plaza Del Armas. Very friendly and communicative staff. Had the alpaca which was amazing (get medium rare temp instead of the house recommenced well). They make the pisco sours at the table, too!

I can only echo the comments of the last reviewer: the restaurant was quiet on the night of our visit but the staff could not have done more to make us feel at home and to explain the dishes. They offer a range of dishes...both from the local area and other parts of Peru. I can particularly recommend the tiradito de trucha and everyone should try the cuy at least once!! A lovely and truly authentic experience!More

We came to Deva in the recommendation that the cuy al horno (oven-roasted Guinea pig) was one of the best in Cusco. As we had come in earlier in the day to ask for availability and said we wanted to try this dish, the staff...started cooking the cuy before we actually ordered (it takes around 45 minutes). We had the anticucho de Lomo and rainbow trout tiradito for starters and both were excellent. The restaurant only sells Peruvian wine and beer, and they also have the two types of fermented corn drink, chicha de jora and chicha morada, both of which we tried and really liked. We were actually given a complimentary sample of the chicha de jora, as well as some roasted white corn as a snack. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, checking on us several times and offering explanations of the dishes and answering all our questions. I would definitely recommend Deva restaurant for a taste of Peruvian cuisine and pleasant atmosphere.More

We had a short time for an early lunch, and opted for this restaurant. It was an excellent choice. The service was quick enough to accommodate our time constraints. And the food was excellent. The roasted corn appetizer was a nice feature, and the trout...very well grilled. The tiradito was very tasty. Made for a great first meal at altitude. I will eat again here if back in Cusco.More

We went to this restaurant because we wanted to try roasted Cuy and reviews of this place were good. So, we got one cuy and one alpaca steak. The steak was excellent . The cuy was interesting but I think I would skip it next...time. Everything regarding meals and service was great. The problem was with restrooms. The toilet was without water so I could not flush or was my hands. So I had to ask manager to help me...well it turned out the water was closed! So I could flush the toilet. Unfortunately, I was still unable to wash my hands after manager opened the water because movement sensor did not work wery well. My gf visited restrooms a while after me... The toilet was leaking.More
