We tried alpaca, was excellent, very well prepared. Also gluten free. We sat down on the terrace and had lunch . Restaurant its clean and fast service. Everyone is nice and helpful. Prices are little high because of the location. Otherwise highly recommended.

The food is absolutely normal, regular. They have a regional show (folklore), but it's quite simple and bland. Most consumers are there just because their travel agents usually book the place. Bad service.

I visited this establishment on my last trip to Peru, we were a party of 7, no reservation needed and the place was crowded, you can order a la carte or pick the buffet, which has numerous dishes to choose from, pisco sour was excellent, the show was great, even my kids (9 & 11) enjoyed it, this is a... I really liked Tunupa, certainly we were all tourists in this restaurant, but I think they put together a very nice show and the food was wonderful. I ordered a aji de gallina and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it.

Tunupa offers buffet or a la carte dinner every night with a Peruvian show - musical instruments and dance! The APU RAYMI band performed pieces from both their traditional & international album! They were superb! i was so happy and impressed I bought both albums for USD10 each! The Dancers wore beautiful costumes , the dances were short and each... More

We were booked here by our tour company. Wish we hadn't bothered. The place was heaving with huge tour groups. We were made to feel a nuisance as we were only a couple. Service was poor, staff had no time for us as rhey were so busy with the large groups. We were disappointed to find that the food was... More

One of the first restaurants we visited in Cusco as recommended by our Cusco guide was Tunupa. There was a live Peruvian band playing whilst we ate and the lead singer spoke English, Japanese, German etc. Pretty much any language he could translate the sale of his CDs into. A couple of Pan pipe solos later we sampled our first... More

Good entertainment, food a little pricey, service was okay. It was actually the first and only time in all our travels in Peru when presented with the bill, that we were told " tip not included ". Overall, the entertainment was excellent.

Very centrally located, Tunupa is a typical Peruvian restaurant serving ceviche etc. The place is also used for a short break or a quick drink due to its central location. Popular with tourists & locals. Serves also some American grills, some Italian dishes and of course sushi. The food was excellent, the service very personal and the price OK for... More
