We didn't have any specific place in mind to eat and came across Ima Sumaq just walking around. First, the service was great and everyone was ver attentive to our order and requests. The food is made fresh to order so it didn't come out immediately, which you would expect for good quality food and it tasted delicious. The drinks... More

This restaurant has fantastic food, & very friendly, helpful staff. A set menu is 30 Peruvian soles but for that you get a 3 course meal which is very tasty, great portion sizes, great quality food & the menu has a good selection to choose from - defo try the lomo saltado... We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Cusco. The first time was lunch with our guide, the second was by ourselves for dinner. The staff remembered us! The menu has a good mix of local food and pastas etc. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food delicious and well cooked.

We were walking by the area with a ravaging need to eat and found Ima Sumaq's 3 course fixed price menu appealing. I had an Inka Cola, a light soup, lomo saltado and a fruit salad (the only dessert option). All for 30 soles (~ $10) plus the soda. The place was pretty empty but they were getting ready for... I have visited this restaurant many times and the service is on top every time. Menu has a good variation of peruan and european food and the prices are not too bad for Cusco. So if you are looking for a guinea big but your friend itaian pasta this is the place to visit. They also can take a bigger... More

We ate Guinea Pig here on the suggestion from our tour guide and although we weren't big fans of it, the meal was still prepared amazingly. The atmosphere would probably be better at night.

Every time i travel around Peru and SouthAmerica as a tour leader, everyone in my groups had a common opinion about to declare Cuzco as one of their favorite places (if no the best), because of its history, archaeologic and of course the different varity of meals we could enjoy there. About meals, the restaurant Ima Sumaq that we had... More
