Had the friend guinea pig and it was amazing. The sides were also very tasty. Luciano was a fantastic host and I'd recommend this place for anyone not too freaked out by the though of eating something a bit different (tasted like big quail).

We had a fantastic dinner in this pleasant restaurant. Luciano, our server and the owner of the place was a great and funny host, introducing us to the traditional peruvian dishes and explaining us how to eat different types of food. Finaly, we decided to go for a Cui, a guinean pig, very popular in cusco area and it was... More

This was our first time trying cuy (Guinea pig) and we were very impressed. It took about 40 minutes to come, and we tried the vegetable stuffed avocado while waiting. The Guinea pig itself was delicious - crispy and salty skin, not much meat but it was very tasty, a bit like duck. We shared one between the two of... More

Had the cuy chactado with a mate tonight after 5 days of hiking. Despite us only entering near closing time (and leaving almost an hour afterwards), our waiter Luciano made us feel super welcome and explained how to eat that delicious, salty fried guinea pig, and even gave us an extra shot after we were done. Great service from Luciano... More

Had dinner there with 6 other friends. Ate the iconic cuy. Tasted like quail. It was really moist. The skin was crisp. It came with a very spongy good tamales and tasty potatoes. It also comes with stuffed somewhat spicy peppers. The service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a complimentary pisco sour and an anise liquor at... More

Came here for my birthday in September 2016, the reviews certainly didn't lie about how great the food was. I had the cuy al horno (guinea pig in the oven, note you do have to wait an hour for them to prepare it), it was good especially the stuff pepper that came along with it. The place is up a... More

We had dinner twice in this place and it was amazing! The Cuy al Horno was so delicious and so nicely prepared by Luciano and his crew. We also tried Alpaca and it was extremely tasty, something completely different compared to what we knew from other trips so far! You should definitely visit Kusikuy when you are around Cusco and... I went here with a friend because we wanted to try Cuy (70 soles). We also got Papas Rellanas (35 soles) and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Our server and the owner stopped at our table to show us how to eat the cuy and were both extremely friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and I liked that it wasn't directly... More
