Kusikuy presented us with the best food I tried in our two week stay in Cuzco. You absolutely must try the cuy there. I am practically drooling while remembering my meal there. Plus, the experience included excellent service by a friendly staff. Definitely a hidden gem of the city, so don't miss out!

It is a restaurant of Cusqueña food, and food of the world. We enjoyed exquisite dishes based on Quinua and Cuy baked (even though a bit shocking but delicious) Kusikuy is a good restaurant and its prices go with the quality of the food, although it is in a hidden place, as it is in the center of the city.... Stopped by here for lunch because we couldn't leave Peru without trying the cuy. We had the roasted cuy, along with the Peruvian beef soup and they were delicious. (Please call ahead 1 hr before for preparation of the cuy dish if you are planning). Luciano, the place owner extended his hospitality to us very well. The decor and ambiance... More

We have been living in Urubamba for the last two months and come in to Cusco for shopping, to meet friends to visit the markets etc. Every time we come we get to experience new restaurants. Some good, some great, some amazing! Kusikuy is an amazing, charming restaurant up from the Plaza De Armas in Cusco. Just a few steps... More

Excellent Service by Luciano! He is amazing! Great atmosphere. Food was great! and shared a Cuy between the 4 of us. We went there for dinner after a long tour to the Southern Valley. We didn't realize it was a cash only place and we came back to pay for the meal in a matter of minutes -- we stayed... More

This is why I like tripadvisor. Finding a small off the beaten track place like this: great home cooking, super friendly service. Lomo saltado is huge and excellent, the lamb cutlets huge and juicy. Pisco sours are creamy and sweet with a dash of cinnamon on top. Awesome.

We ordered their Loma saltado and the Guacamole. Both were out of this world. We came back a second night and had the same dishes. Service is super friendly and atmosphere is warm.

A fantastic dinner. The owner, Luciano, comes out and checks on everyone. We had Papa a la Huancaina, Lomo Saltado, Troucha al Huacatay. We made 2 visits both wonderful.
