When we first saw the Map Cafe, we were concerned that it would feel like sitting in a fishbowl since it is all glass, but it was very comfortable. We both had ceviche, mine was warm, my husbands cold, and both were fabulous. There were 5 of us a7 dinner and we all had great meals. The service was superb.... More

We visited the museum of precolumbian art on our first day in Cusco. The cafe looked nice, so we decided to stop for lunch. A large Italian group was inside the restaurant, sow chose to sit at one of the tables outdoors. We chose a couple of items to share as it was our first real meal in Peru. It... More

I had the best dinner at MAP in Cusco. This gastronomic delight was on of the best dinners we had in Peru. Everything from the service, food and wine list was on point. If you want a special dinner with friends or a loved one this place is for you.

We had a memorable lunch here, the best in Cusco. The Gazpacho was I think Lucuma and was superb semi sweet, with complex fresh flavours. The Quinoa Canneloni with truffle essence and tomato Pesto in a bed of sautéed chard and fennel was the best I have tasted in Peru. Excellent friendly service that makes the cafe value for money.

Right around hotel Monasterio this informal place has pustandong food and service. The stone cooked shrimp, the tiradito and avocado with fish appetizers are fantastic. Then the pork, the catch of the day and the chiken very good as well. Desserts juat try them all! Coffee top quality.

Excellent meal and the location of the restaurant, a glass enclosure in the center of the museum atrium, is really unique. Pretty pricey but excellent Peruvian cuisine. The staff do a really nice job of describing the local origins of all the dishes.

One of my best gastronomic experiences ever. Exquisite use of traditional Peruvian cuisine with a respectful modern twist. Wonderful service, good wine list although not extensive. We did the 9pm sitting and wandered the ground floor galleries of the museum while we waited. Make your reservation now and enjoy. Its small and well worth some planning.
