This restaurant is part of the pre columbian museum and the atmosphere and food are great. The deserts really stand out and the menu has a large variety from meat to fish to vegetarian. It is right near Hotel Monasterio in Peru. Reservations are recommended

Nested inside the Pre-Columbian Art Museum, the MAP Cafe was definitely a refreshing culinary surprise to us. The restaurant was like a glass container and the ambience was nice. Service was great. Food was delicious with sophisticated presentation. Never expect this kind of restaurant at Cusco and the MAP Cafe is definitely not to be missed.

We enjoyed our meal here, the setting was nice and the menu interesting. We had a very good waitor who was informative and fun. The food was very good and original. I found it a little expensive

The three course meal was around $60 and worth it. I had the pork that cooks for a long time And don't forget to go to the museum.

Booked an early dinner at the MAP cafe in Cusco. Extensive menu and wine list with very courteous and helpful staff. Food was very inventive and absolutely delicious. Large serves with sorbet between courses to assist with identifying all the flavours of each course. Only seats 25 people so bookings are essential. A gem not to be missed in Cusco.

I enjoyed every bite of each dish. The staff were excellent. Worth the price charged and if this restaurant was in NY, LA, DC or any major city in Europe or Asia the price would be much higher. If you are looking for a change from the main places (I.e. at the plaza) try this place, you will like it.

I made a reservation based on the trip advisor review and found these restaurant complete overated. The setting is beautiful in the middle of the Museum, but its set price os $80 per person is not worth it. I have eaten in the best restaurants os Peru and these one is not one off them. Average everything except setting. Save... More

Go for a citywalk and around 2pm when you feel hungry, go towards Plazoleta Nazarenas and try the MAP Café for lunch! It was my BEST dish in Cusco. If you are able to spend more, you can try for dinner, but you have to be aware the close-price-menu, that can be expen$ive!

All courses that we ordered were delicious and the service was great! Yuri, our waiter, was very friendly and gave us a nice rundown of everything on we chose from the menu. Definitely check this place out if you are ever in Cusco.
