Amazing vegan sushi / meal experience. My partner and I had the couples sharing menu. It was amazing. Service was a bit slow, but the place is a must try. Proper relaxed atmosphere and amazing tastes.

This is really fine dining for a very good price. It's a nice atmosphere too. Of all the places we ate in Arequipa, this was by far the best.

The food and drink were delicious - we had the tempura, sushi clasico, sushi bowl and pisco sours - and very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. Servers were attentive and helpful. Overall a great dining experience.

An unexpected (and delicious) surprise. We ordered the set menu for 2 people and everything was super! The salad, the soup, the sushi - wow! So good! Definitely give this place a try.

We ate dinner here twice during our 6 nights in Arequipa. Very clean and simple food, tasty even without the fish! A calm and pleasant atmosphere, friendly efficient service. My husband is Japanese American and very picky about sushi, especially the rice, and he thoroughly...enjoyed it. Even though we have enjoyed having Peruvian food during our month of traveling here, it is nice to have something different from time to time, and this sushi dinner was perfect.More

We came with 4 friends and ordered some amazing sushi. Not missing the fish or meat at all! Unfortunately our friend got sick (not from the food!!) and the personnel was really attentive and helpful. We got to take away the sushi and wine to...eat at home. Really great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place!More

Me and my friend spent our first dinner in Arequipa at Buda Profano and it was amazing. We ordered the 2 person sharing platter and it included miso soup, cucumber salad, gyoza and sushi rolls. It was vegetarian too! Not to mention it was under...$7 USD each (50 soles total). The ambience and decor was also 10/10. I super recommend!More

The food is excellent and the service is relatively fast. They have a lot of variety of sushi. We went to dinner every night when we were in Arequipa. Perhaps it is a little more expensive than the average price in Arequipa.

Very interesting experience. Didn’t notice it was vegetarian at first but it’s definitely worth the try. Menu degustación was our choice and it was perfect for a light dinner.

Actually we’ve been visiting ‘El Buda’ for some years now. I think there’s not a better place -at least for me- in the city. I tell you, I always come back because I feel safe and enthusiastic there. Going strictly to the food… how is...it possible to eat as good and not feeling guilty after it? To my understanding, most of the merits this place has is also because the people behind really care for what they’re doing. And that’s a step ahead.More

Really wonderfully made sushi, my partner and I ordered a 15 piece sharing plate as well as another mixed plate of 6 pieces. This was a really nice amount for 2 people, alongside the mango and ginger juice as well. Fantastic textures and flavours, you...really don't miss the fish at all! One of the most reasonably priced dinners we had in the city, with no sacrifice to the quality. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting during a trip to Arequipa.More

Hi Liafe. We use a quality miso mixed in our house vegan dashi. Quite minimal, but we think that it is delicious on it's own, and does not need additional condiments to stand out. Many customers agree. Regarding the sushi, we have a wide variety...More

Most items on the menu do not contain gluten containing grains. Exceptions are the tempura and gyoza, and any other fried items. The soy sauce contains less then 20 ppm of gluten, so is considered medically safe for celiacs.
