You cannot go to Arequipa and not eat here! Amazing food- I had the three meat dish (alpaca, chicken and beef) which was delicious and the ratatouille and quinoa risotto to accompany it! Would highly recommend!

We were excited to visit Zig Zag after reading great reviews and recommendations in travel books but unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. The waitress seemed distracted - she took my menu off me after the rest of my party had ordered and started to walk off...More
We concluded our 2 weeks stay in Peru (Lima- Valle sagrado- Cusco- Puno- Colca cañion) @Zig Zags in Arequipa. Perfect choice for dinner (thanks to our guide Patricia.) Zig Zag serves fresh ingredients of excellent quality, orginal dishes well prepared; the service was friendly and...More

We had the Amazonian fish and the three meats (alpaca, lamb and beef) cooked on the volcanic stone, and pisco sours. Everything was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
This was by far the best restaurant we dined at in Peru. Better than Chicha. This restaurant gives you a unique and exciting dining experience that you won't find anywhere else. The tastes, the service, the ambience--these things made for a rich, 5-star experience.
