Scored one of the last tables in this small, yet charming restaurant. I arrived for an almuerzo which was served almost immediately! The carrot soup was delicious and the chicken was quite moist and flavorful. Service was very efficient. It seemed to serve a local...More

We ate here a couple times during our stay in Cuenca but could have happily returned everyday. We had the menu del dia for lunch which only cost $2.75 and included soup, a main, dessert and a juice. The quality and service was outstanding.

This place was packed full on a weekday for lunch which is always a good sign. We had soup, an entree with meats and rice, and juice. They forgot to bring our desserts but it's ok. Our final bill for two was five dollars.

I had the lunch menu for $2.50.Food was good. They served fresh blackberry juice which was nice. The main dish was beef stew, also delicious but small portions. They are closed on Sundays.

This was the best combination of food quality, service and price that we experienced in Cuenca. $2.50 for a full meal with drink and dessert. On the way out another expat summed it up in his parting comment to the waiter: "see you tomorrow".
