Friendly good service is not expensive. When leaving ring the bell to show appreciation. A little hard to find. Always bananas served with lunch.

We had heard of Moliendo Cafe from other ex-pats, and it is an excellent place to eat. The service is friendly, cordial, quick, and the food is excellent. If you are looking for a quick, inexpensive (2.50) meal, check it out. We have eaten here 3 times and will continue to support Moliendo.

We were very exciting about this restaurant, but were a bit disappointed after visit it. We decided to have a breakfast there. The coffee was very weak - "American style". Natural juices were mixed with a lot of water. Arepas with beef were ok, nothing special but not bad. I already had better arepas in Colombia. Stuff was nice and... More

Went in for lunch on a Monday. Fairly busy place with a welcoming staff. Nice selection for lunch...we choose a few items from the afertas side of the menu, and, of course, a Colombian beer. Quite good. Love the spicy sauce that sits on the table, and loved how they greeted and. Treated everyone who came in. Food came fast,... More

Have been here twice for lunch and enjoyed both times very much. Had the house special both days (almuerzo), which consists of a glass of juice, bowl of soup, and some sort of meat dish (chicken, pork, beef) with vegetables, and a banana for dessert. All for $2.50 inc. tax. Service is fast and pleasant. The clientele is a mix... More

I had heard about this place and we decided to make it our first almuerzo in Cuenca. The restaurant was easy to find and the staff were friendly and spoke some English. I ordered the chicken almuerzo and my wife had the beef almuerzo. The food came out quickly. We got a large glass of juice and started with a... More

Do you like Latin food ... Colombian food? ... Then go there and try the menu. You will not be disappointed. It is simple place with a few tables but it is always full, which means that food is good, right?

Discovered this place due to its reputation on trip advisor. The place doesn't look like must but don't judge a book by its cover, this diamond in the rough is generous with food, friendly in nature and most importantly tasty. We when there on our first day and our second.... yes that good. Enjoy.
