Mangiare is the best Italian option in Cuenca. The place offered a big menu with different Italian options. We tried Lasagna and was so delicious. The service is fast, people are friendly. This is the best Italian option.

We had the steak, italian style, it is 5 blocks away from place Calderon, but worth the walk. At the time the cappuccino machine was broken down, but when you read this I am sure it has been fixed.

We had a long late lunch at Mangiare Restaurante just off of Simon Bolivar street. It was very good. Shared a Caprese salad - $6, Spaghetti Bolognese $9 and Chicken Saltimboco $10. A lovely full bottle ($27) of Argentinian Malbec - Dona Paula Estate followed by two espressos. Dessert was on the house - chocolate muffin cake and vanilla ice... More

Pleasant little Italian food restaurant that we stop in when in that part of town (near the Museum of Modern Art). We have always liked the food, and the prices are reasonable.

The Cuenca go to for solid pasta dishes. The menu is fun to read and choose your dish. First, select a pasta from their extensive list and secondly select you sauce. While you wait for your meal they serve you a small antipasto starter to whet your appetite. The wine list is good and the prices are reasonable. A great... More

This Italian eataurante is in situated in a small hotel, and has a lovely ambiance! The food selection is amazing and everyone ( we were 28 for dinner) raved about it! Everything from filet mignon, to chicken carbonara, to lasagna, chicken mozarella, to choose your own pasta and sauce was superb! Even with such a large group, the service was... More
