Service was good but the experience awfull. They do not like babies or toddlers like customers; only nice people such as executives wealthy. The only one restaurant that does not have chairs for babies or toddlers. Service's staff does not use masks 😷 they don´t...care about it. Some of them use, others not.

Tiesto's never disappoints! My husband & I selected the Menú de Desgustacion #1, several courses to be shared by 2 people. We had shrimp soup, Langostinos al Tiestos, Pollo al Curry con Macadamias, & Lomo Fino a la crema y tomato, followed by chocolate cake...& ice cream for dessert. The meal was accompanied by 6 different salsas, & the waiter suggested diff, combinations. (My favorite was a spoonful of shrimp soup w. piña salsa). Each of the sauces that accompanied the different courses were a delightful blend of flavors, & the service continued to be excellent. Dessert is always served on plates which are hand-painted w. edible syrups -- a beautiful presentation to end a perfect meal. We highly recommend that you treat yourself to a meal at Tiesto's!More

In our 4 week travels throughout Ecuador/ Peru, late December into January 2022, Tiestos was by far our BEST restaurant experience. We expected Peru, renown as the 'foodie capitol' of S.A. to have wonderful restaurants (and it did), BUT none could compare to the level...of service, quality of food, just the overall experience that is Tiestos and it all starts at the top with Chef Juan. How fortunate we were to experience all that his restaurant has to offer, atmosphere, incredible food and a level of service that is truly fine dining. We were so fortunate that our tour guide and friend, Javier was able to secure us a table on a days notice and an experience we will never forget! Thank you, thank you, thank you Chef Juan and may good fortune continue to shine on you!More

Tiesto's Cafe Restaurant is a must do location if you like good, authentic food. We were there with some friends and just wanted some food to share but couldn't decide what to order so the chef made some recommendations which turned out to be absolutely...spot on. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurants decor is fascinating and creates the expectation of something special. The maitre-d was kind enough to locate us at a perfect table to have a view and yet a bit of privacy. Our waiter was...marvelous. We followed all of his recommendations and had a wonderful meal. His guidance of how to eat each dish (sauces to sample etc) was so really helpful. The wine, the food, the service, the ambiance and the setting were all exactly what they should be,More

We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at Tiestos, & ordered a combination dinner for 2. The waiter suggested diff. salsa combinations w. our delicious shrimp soup, which we wouldn't have thought of creating, & they were delightful. We also enjoyed langostinos, & the waiter chopped...baked potatoes in the butter sauce, then placed that on our plate as an accompaniment. That course was followed by chicken in an orange sauce w. nuts, and steak topped w. tomatoes & grilled cheese. Afterwards, the owner surprised us w. a special anniversary dessert plate, painted w. edible syrups saying "Happy 16 anniversary". We have never before experienced such a great combination of top quality food & the attentive service we receive at Tiestos. This was one of our best ever dining experiences. We highly recommend this restaurant!More

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tiesto's! The food was incredibly delicious, and the restaurant was full of colorful decorations & good energy. Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive, and the owner even stopped by our table to say "hello". He also...shared that all of the restaurant staff is fully vaccinated, but he insists they all wear masks, to make the clients feel comfortable. This restaurant is definitely a 5-star establishment!More

What a wonderful treat. Fabulous food, great service, charming ambiance. A bit pricey for Cuenca but well worth it. We spent @$40. Our waiter Fernando spoke English, but apparently not many others there do so. Started us off with delicious bread accompanied by about eight...little bowls of assorted sauces; chimichuri, aji, apples, eggplant, etc. We ordered Lomo de Tiesta for two. Succulent medallions of beef in a tasty sauce. Served with boiled potatoes, locra, salad, and rice. Delicious. We saw another diner being served langostinos that were huge- looked like a small lobster tail. We might try that next timeMore

Fantastic meal. We enjoyed the tenderloin medallions wirh olive oil and butter. They arrived at the table in a hot plate still cooking and were served on our plates. They are only cooked medium rare. They are so tender they can be cut with a...spoon. The meal was delic! We had the praline cake for dessert, which was heavenly.More

A top meal experience - not just delicious food, a culinary adventure. What made this meal most special was the range of sauces brought to the table to start. We asked the waiter for his recommendations and order a little too much for two people...but we’ll worth it! Our highlight was the shrimp soup. The waiter walked us through trying different bites of the soup (some bites just broth, some just shrimp, some together) with each sauce which wildly changed the taste. We followed that up with a seafood soup then the incredible tiesto prawns. The presentation was fun and performative. The entree was for a minimum of two people and came with a range of sides, all delicious. We also had the steak which the waiter proudly showed us he could cut with a spoon, it was that buttery. Finished by a rich chocolate dessert with passion fruit ice cream and a selfie with the gracious chef. Most expensive meal we had in Ecuador but absolutely worth it, and still a great value compared to the US.More

The chef can do better by just staying in the kitchen. He suffers from arrogant chef syndrome. He comes out to greet you but doesn't even offer a smile. The waiter and the rest of the staff act like they are doing you a favor...by allowing you to eat in their restaurant. The waiter brings the food out and then proceeds to tell you how to eat it. On top of that, the food is heavily salted and extremely over buttered. Couldn't even finish it. Don't understand why this place has such a high rating. Can't recommend.More

I've eaten at Tiestos many times and can only give it a 5-Star rating. The food is excellent--I especially love the langostinos and the chicken with blue cheese sauce. It's difficult not to fill up even before ordering--the bread with numerous sauces, which is served...when you're seated, is so tempting. The service is absolutely impeccable--the waiters plate your food at the table. And the desserts? WOW!More
