We had dinner there and wasn't disappointed at either the service or the food. Our waitress was very attentive and my mochachino was delicious, even our beef schnitzel was excellent and tender. We often go to Cafe Austria for coffee when we are in the...More

Conveniently located downstairs from our AirBnB, we wanted to love this place. Fresh fruit juice great. Beautifully made coffee nowhere near hot, and when we complained, nothing. Enjoyed the food: perfect spring omelette and pancakes were Swedish style, light and fluffy. But breakfast is about...More

Sorry about the coffee. Shouldn’t have happened. Our waiter wanted to change it for you but you had already drunk it completely when you complained!

We happened to stop here as it was the only place in our surroundings opened on Sunday. The menu was interesting, different than what we’ve been eating for the past month traveling in Peru. The Goulash was excellent, as were the meat Tacos. The service...More

We always seem to stop at Cafe Austria when we're downtown on errands. The atmosphere is always excellent, the service is also and the food/pastries are excellent.

Elegant European styled café was a great visit. Luscious coffees and sweets in a beautiful setting. But can we live without a tv?

According to their hours they're supposed to be open between 8:00 am to 10:30 pm, however we have holiday here in Cuenca, so that may be the reason.

We are open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please note that we moved to the corner of Hermano Miguel and Bolivar 2 years ago. I dont know on which closed door you knocked - it was probably not ours... :)
