This is not a gourmet restaurant but the food they have is decent. The best thing about the is restaurant is enjoying great music, drinks and food in the evenings

Small place in a lovely location on the river. Small, quaint. Didn't try the food, looked simple enough. If you are dying for a semi-americas experience, do try it. To the owners, please put some pictures up, hopefully that will bring you more business.
Signed up for trip advisor to review this place since the last two reviews were negative.....Shame on you! We had a great time here. Service was excellent, food was good and entertainment with Pedro Roxas made it a wonderful evening. Great local joint!
Went here to hear some music and have drinks. Gringo owned and catering to elder gringos....note posters of iconic American scenes and music stars. Music was above average...Pedro on vocals and Rafa on lead guitar. Drinks were served in mason jars with lids and straws?...And consisted of basics, G &T, Long Island ice teas, black Russian, Cuba libre. 2 wine choices: tinto y Blanco. Fairly priced. Vibe was off for me. Even though I'm an American, you can only take so much of us....More
This place opened with an owner who nearly ran it into the ground, the first week, until he was thrown out, not only of the restaurant, but the country, and now, the people who took it over, turned it into one of the hottest spots...in Cuenca!!!More
One of the newer restaurants in town, we decided to give it a try last week. The owner clearly cares and tries to help customers. The food was quite decent, and there is specific complaint. However, there are so many new and truly excellent restaurants...in town, that competition is fierce, and this didn't really quite stack up. We might return if friends ask, but this is not really a place on our future radar...More
The Broken Bridge Tavern is a unique experience. The ambience is low-key however classy with a variety of seating areas plus a covered patio with a view of the river. The music venue and sound system are excellent. Many times musicians just show up and...play. The owner is friendly and attentive to the guests plus he helps 'new guests' connect with the 'regulars.' Hope to see you there!More
