The best sushi in Cuenca, hand made, fresh ingredients, served with generous portions. The restaurant is small, but easy to find on the Main Street, Calle Large

I like it! Nothing fancy but fine sashimi and sushi at expected prices. It makes up for that silly faux disaster, Noe. Conveniently located and some of the other nonsense "Japanese" Cuenca tries to get by with. Been there a few times..so it is reliable.

Eddy outdid himself. We truly enjoyed the Tuna Tataki and the Coconut Panko Shrimp. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. We are absolutely thrilled that he changed his seating to bigger, padded, comfortable chairs and stools. A marvellous time. Remember, though, that he usually closes...More

We have eaten here maybe a dozen times. Always excellent food. Service seems slow but that is only because everything is made to order and with care.

Hallelujah! Eddy has added to the appeal of his restaurant by replacing the small wooden chairs with larger, high back chairs with padded seats. Very comfortable for an enjoyable meal. And enjoyable it was. Always first class, fresh and affordable.

We ate here tonight again, after returning from an art show opening. The food was excellent, as it always has been, and with reasonable prices. Very small restaurant on Calle Larga in Centro Cuenca. Of the 3 sushi places in town, this is easily our...More

This place deserves a 5, overall rating, but expectations of visitors may question my judgement. I come from Vancouver, Canada, a hot bed of stellar Asian food, so my bar is very high, usually. Let's be honest, we're quite a ways from the coast, so...More

If their usual day closed is Tuesday, then I would think they'd be closed, but they don't consider the 26th a holiday here, and will have the Monday off for Christmas, so they'll likely be open.
