Best food experience in Quito. Expensive compared to everything else but extremely good food and service, in the fine dining category. Tasting menu comes highly recommended! All the dishes were different, exquisite, beautifully presented and included native produce. Service extremely good and attentive, my husband...More

the restaurant deserves its rating - I am a vegetarian and while not over-whelmed, I was not disappointed. There was only one entree for me on June 1 - a carrot with pumpkin puree dish that was a home run (see picture). The female servers...More

A local guide at our hotel said this restaurant is an example of where Ecuadorian cuisine is headed. He was right, a shining example of sophistication and tradition. The presentation and artistry was excellent. I felt the servings were small and my fish was a...More

We were greeted warmly by the staff. Leonardo was our server for the evening. He recommended some amazing wines by the glass. I ordered the calamari and was served a large and very tasty dish. My wife ordered the Andean grain salad. Both very impressive...More

Lovely silver monochromatic decor which is very chic. Service is very good. The food was variable. Some things excellent , others I didn't care for. Could be my American pallet. Nice date night place or special occasion dining.

I went to the Zazu with high expectations having read all the reviews. It was not a great experience, average but not great. The tuna tartare was perfectly seasoned fresh and quite delicious. But the fish risotto was a major disappointment, the shrimp were mealy...More

$70/person for tasting menu, but can also order off the menu a la carte. Wine list has lots of selections at all ends of the spectrum.
