We came here for our first meal in Quito. It's excellent, just like the best restaurants in Peru. It's just like Gaston Acurios restaurants. Waiters were very nice even though we were dressed in T shirts. Service was good. Atmosphere is good. So this is a must visit if you want to taste authentic Peruvian food.

This is a world class restaurant. Decor modern, staff professional and welcoming. Sophisticated experience all around. Menu excellent and plenty of choice. Wine list good and a full bar. If you are passing through Quito on your way to the Galapagos a wonderful start to your adventure. Zazu really worth the visit. David our young waiter was excellent!

We were looking very forward to dining at Zazu since it is a Relais an Chateau restaurant. It did not disappoint. Our whole meal was delectable. The service was a little slow since a large party came in but it really didn't bother us. We had an appetizer of calamari along with our main dishes mushroom risotto and ossobucco. All... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. Having had several tasting menus this trip we stuck to a la carte. Smart modern design with traditional structure. We had a very good waiter who explained the menu well and looked after us exceptionally. Cannot fault the food. Overall a great experience.

We got the tasting menu, one with wine pairing. The food was good, not great. Beautiful presentation. Service was good not exceptional. The wine pairing was a disappointment as the wines chosen are nothing special. Certainly not worthy of the level of the food, nor the level of this restaurant.

Had a tuna tartar and calamari for appetizer. Liked calamari better. Main dish see bass and prawns. It was good. I would recommend.

Absolutely incredible food, and stellar service. The waiter that we had spoke English with my fiancee and recommended some fabulous dishes. When one of the waitresses found out it was our anniversary, we were treated to complimentary glasses of champagne. The cocktails were truly marvelous works of art and my seafood pasta dish was delicious. My fiancee and I loved... More

Great food and service in an elegant atmosphere. The atmosphere was modern and the staff seemed to take their jobs very seriously. Soups were delicious and the cleanliness of the restaurant made me feel confident in trying traditional dishes. A bit pricey for Ecuador, but reasonable for fine dining.

I tried last week for dinner and I was not really impressed with the food. Is ok. the place is nice and elegant but I find the price expensive.

The decor and service at Zazu was very impressive. However, I found the menu to be disjointed and none of the food stood out to me. The tempura ceviche was especially a disappointment: the menu makes it seem that only the shrimp will be deep fried but it turned out the all of the fish was fried, making it more... More
