Came here for dinner alone. Very close to Plaza Foch, but more quiet and elegant restaurant with glass windows. Very good food and drink menu. Service was attentive and friendly. Had a canelazo (perhaps misspelled) drink which is the local hard liquor with hot water and cinammon. Have to ask for it...Main course was very tasty. I'd recommend this restaurant... More

We shared a ceviche starter which was delicious, followed for me by langoustines with fried yucca and a choice of salad (I had the one with avocado) which was very tasty and filling. Wine by the glass for $5. But we had to wait a long time for our first food to appear (a complementary dish of olives and something... More

The white carrot patties and sapote dish were great. The chicken consume morrocho were also excellent. We didn't try the cuy because it grossed out my girls to consider eating what other family members have had as pets. The server was super nice. I tried to order the arugula salad but they delivered with iceberg lettuce so I sent it... More

This was the best dinner we had in Ecuador. We were impressed by the service and every dish we ordered was delicious. We especially liked the empanadas verde and the bunuelo dessert.

The seervice was very good, the food decent, the atmosphere casual. A good selection of local cuisine at very reasonable prices. Casual and comfortable. The live music - singer/guitarist - that went on until 9 o´clock was, typically for here it seems, too loud - you couldn´t carry on a conversation. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Concierge recommended as a great Ecuadorian place and he was right. Food is wonderful and local, you won't find most of these dishes outside of Ecuador. Very friendly service

Excellent restaurant with very interesting menu. Starting with yucca stick with cheese, llalapingachos(potato cakes stuffed with cheese and served with guacamole), continuing with cold tropical salad(papaya, kiwi, rucula and palmitto), warm Andean products salad(all kind of beans) all the way to green rice or chocolate rice, everything was very taste. Looks like this Ecuadorian fusion kitchen hit the sweet spot... More

An ok restaurant that is suited for large groups. The food overall was pretty good with decent portions but a little too expensive and touristy compared to others you can go to in the old town.

This was a nice surprise for me. It was my third time in Ecuador but the first time in this restaurant which is actually on the same street where my hotel is (Posada del Maple). The food is really good, as well as the service, the decoration, the live music, everything!

We wandered upon this place after spending the morning exploring Quito. Having heard of the restaurant from TripAdvisor, we asked if they were open for a late lunch. They happily welcomed us, despite being the only patrons in the restaurant. The meal was great! The empanadas were phenomenal, the fried plantains were great, and our service was very attentive but... More
