Our first time in Ecuador and we decided to try typical ecuadorian food. We ordered the Cuy as my boyfriend wanted to try. I didnt try but my boyfriend yes, i ordered a dish called Locro with potatos on it. The food was delicios, people are nice , resonable prices. Very good option to try local food. Go there!

I came here for lunch. This is a traditional Ecuadorean restaurant. The food is very tasty, well presented, with no concessions to tourists. Food in Quito is not very hot, so don't worry. They have combination dishes with chicharron and other things, but these are a bit greasy. I tried the Lengua guisada (stewed tongue) and it was superb.

It is a great and delicious place to eat for ecuadorian food. It is more expensive than the food we had in the old town. but it is the modern part of the town, and food is made delicately. and I think it was the only ecuador place we found in our district . it is delicious ! Dinner is... More

Our hotel recommended this place and we are so glad they did. We sat upstairs on the patio where we could see everything going on in the square. We tried the cuy and the lamb stew. The stew was fantastic! So much flavor! The cuy was something we had to try. If you're wondering what it tastes like it is,... More

Atmosphere was fine. The food was ok, nothing special. My friend tried the guinea pig which was greasy and fatty (though maybe all guinea pig is). I didn't really like my lamb, it was kind of gamey. The empanadas were decent. The service was HORRIBLE. We left without desert or coffee as we were being ignored and the staff were... More

My family and i decided to try some Ecuadorian food also, we went to this restaurant while in Quito. We haven´t imagined that ecuadorian food offers very good vegetarian options. The Potato soup was so tasty, we also tried Tortillas . This is a nice place to try ecuadorian food !

We were a table of 8 seated in the top floor dining area. During the time we waited to be served two other tables were seated, ordered, ate their food and left. The waiters were running up and down the stairs, but we were not getting served -- even though the bar was on our floor, we weren't even offered... More

Our food was aweful, could not cut or hardly chew my steak, it had no flavor. Husband's bass was slightly better. I left most of my meal, and $33 dollars for 2 meals and no drinks that's alot. There were no local people eating there just tour groups and tourists. I do not recommend. I do have to say our... More

We wanted some authentic Ecuadorian food and our guide sent us here. The food was fine, but the entire place was filled with tourists, which was disappointing. Clearly this is where all the tours sent their participants. If you don't know where else to go, this place will provide a good meal, but if you're looking for an authentic Ecuadorian... More
