This is a review for a private event I held at their private room on the second floor. First off, the organization was exceptional and, even though we were a small group, we were treated as a priority for them. The food was spectacular. Mr. Betancourt organized everything for us. We had the avocado with shrimp as appetizers, parrillada as... More

Two of our party had the cheeseburger and they both said that the burger was the best they had ever had. The 'pick your own' salad bar meant that they could have as much or as little garnish as they wanted. My daughter-in-law had one of the pork dishes which looked really nice and I had the Chicken with mushroom... More

Went for the mixed grill for 2. Very average, wasn't sure which cut of meat was which...all tasted the same except for the sausages. We both had iffy stomachs afterwards too, so not great.

Best to check things out ahead when dining at Rinco del Gaucho, especially if you're planning on using a credit card to pay. Food was just average in quality and pricing. Seemed a bit shady when it came to paying the bill - where payment had to be in cash only - yet on the glass entrance door to the... More

Went here for lunch with a friend, at the Diego de Almagro location in La Mariscal. Both of us had the Gaucho Bife de Chorizo, which was served on a charcoal fired warming tray, with a very tasty jus, a garnish of sauteed onions & peppers, and a choice of baked potato or homemade steak fries. US$23. The steaks were... More

My wife and I went to the branch in Diego de Almagro, Mariscal Sucre, for dinner and we both had the bife de chorizo (similar cut to sirloin). We also had two portions of papas fritas, one portion of salad and a bottle of a very mediocre Chilean carmenere, the name of which I have forgotten. The bill came to... More

We had dinner at Christmas evening in this cosy, authentic, Argentinian restaurant. It was by no means busy, but the atmosphere was allright to enjoy a good Lomo Gaucho. it was well prepared, served on a small charcoal heated steel plate and it tasted delicious. Prices are a bit overrated in the Quito context. And the wine is exceptionally expensive,... More

They have Great bife de chorizo in here as well as Argentinian and Chilean wines. Is kind of an Argentinian classic in Quito
