I went here with a friend since many people raved about this place. When we arrived we quickly noticed most people dining in were tourists. Typically I like to go to "more local places" but I wasn't disappointed. We both had the avocado soup which...More

The food is delicious! The restaurant appears to be family run, with attentive but not intrusive service. We had avocado soup and shrimp ceviche one night, and trout, Ecuadorean rice and shrimp the next night. A full dinner for two with wine and one shared...More

My husband and I went here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, attractively presented and tasty. The service was so-so - friendly, but not attentive, which is the norm in South America. Desserts were delicious - save room!

Description
Fried Bananas is a cozy restaurant with a casual and relaxed atmosphere, right next to the main tourist plaza in La Mariscal. Our prices are much lower than one would expect given the quality of the food and service. We feature a variety of seafood, Ecuadorian specialties, grilled dishes, pasta, salads, vegetarian delights and more; all creatively prepared and as fresh as can be.You will want to be sure to save room for one of our signature desserts.I suggest checking out our website where you can browse the menu, read reviews and get more information about us.HOURS OF OPERATION: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 12:30-20:30 SATURDAY 12:30 16:30
