This small restaurant offers delicious choices for diners, especially excellent vegetarian options. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate there several times and tried a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious, beautifully served, and well-priced. Don't miss it!

We went here for dinner. Make sure you come early, because they close at 20u30. We arrived at 20u15, but could still order dinner fortunately. We had the grilled chicken and the t-bone, both really good. The lady offered to order a taxi for us after dinner and negotiated a good price with the driver. We had a great night!

We visited this restaurants because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor, but we were a bit disappointed. We got our dishes very fast and the meat of my friend was cold. Ofcourse they re-heated this and after this the meat was good. The food is ok, but i expected more ambiance and better seats.

Great beginning to our trip! First restaurant and it will be difficult for others to measure up. Everything was prepared well and fresh. Our family enjoyed it. Our hostel recommended taking a taxi back, no problem getting one.

First things first the food was amazing, having never eaten traditional food from Ecuador before this was a lovely restaurant to sample some of the local cuisine. Being English and not knowing any Spanish it can/has been very difficult eating out in and around Quito but the lady that was front of house was incredibly helpful, her English was brilliant... The food is Ecuadorian with a twist. A great way to sample Ecuadorian flavors in a upscale tourist atmosphere. Wonderful hostess described the dishes in English (upon request) and the flavors were fresh and interesting. I felt no hesitation in eating a salad with some unexpected and delicious toppings (e.g. warm cooked mushrooms melting a bit of cheese on top... More

Fried Bananas is a cozy restaurant with a casual and relaxed atmosphere, right next to the main tourist plaza in La Mariscal. Our prices are much lower than one would expect given the quality of the food and service. We feature a variety of seafood, Ecuadorian specialties, grilled dishes, pasta, salads, vegetarian delights and more; all creatively prepared and as fresh as can be.You will want to be sure to save room for one of our signature desserts.I suggest checking out our website where you can browse the menu, read reviews and get more information about us.HOURS OF OPERATION: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 12:30-20:30 SATURDAY 12:30 16:30
