Some dishes were very bland (the rock fish with grain), others over-creative (the grandma's cake with layers of oreos, fruit salad and cake crumbs, and a lemon? mousse).

We just ate a truly delicious meal and came away with delightful information on Chilean food, recipes, spices, food supply networks and culinary practices! They were so accommodating that it made the chill of this winter evening just disappear! This is what restaurant dining should be like. Excellent.

A must go for any valpo travelers. Cute ambiance, delicious food. My wife and I had such a great time. Try the pisco sour, offered dry and sweet, we had two dry Piscos and two more for desert. My wife had the Tuna cooked just like she likes it and I had the rabbit which was so delish as well!... More

Worth stopping by for a casual but delicious dinner. Great wine choice, awesome tunes and really fun service. We left it up to them to order for us and it worked a treat - a spicy red wine, empanadas and some delicious tuna. There are a lot of dining options in this town - we recommend this one.

We enjoyed a well presented and tasty dinner of rabbit with a starter of ceviche. The wine selection was excellent and the dessert was so unusual I will want to try to duplicate. It was a family recipe and married the sweet of pineapple with dark chocolate and lemon cream. The service and music made it all a perfect evening.

My husband and I were lucky to go on a night with live music which really added to the experience. They had a great selection of wine that was a little less known- we had a Pinot Noir from Casablanca which was our favorite from the trip. Food was great and so was the service. Great little spot!

We had a lovely dinner last night at Cafe Vinilo. The restaurant was full and we didn't have a reservation, but there was a table open in the corner which allowed us to see the cute decor and people-watch. We ordered a bottle of Casas Del Bosque Gran Reserva Sauvingon Blanc, which we had just visited a few days ago,... More

This is a gem of a restaurant. The waiters are helpful and love to explain about the food and wine. They make great Pisco Sours. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes well put together giving a modern twist on Chilean food. When we were there one of the guys was playing Ska music from old vinyl.

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel. It had a really nice atmosphere, and the food was very good! We enjoyed our dinner here and would recommend the restaurant to others. There was a flyer in the restaurant for tours and cooking classes - I wish I'd seen it earlier in our quick overnight trip!

Popped into Cafe Vinilo last night by chance and boy am I glad I did. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The wine served, like most in this area, was superb. This was all topped by the stunning food. We had a salmon main course and a tuna main course. Without exaggeration, I have to say these meals are among... More
