Sushi restaurant, nothing special. Overpriced and erratic service for all the hype and over blown reviews. A let down.

Both service and food were excellent, and the atmosphere is suitable for a productive professional conversation. I recommend the Kyoto roll and sashimi but everything we had was fresh and delicious.

Ichiban is one of the best sushi's in town. Great service and food. I recommend to make a reservation before you go. The team always help to choose from the menu.

We visited Ichiban the first week of February 2016. The restaurant is situated in the Vitacura barrio, a very nice residential area. Upon our arrival the restaurant was quite empty, which made us doubt a bit if we had chosen the right place to have sushi. But hey, once there, what do you do; you hope for the best and... More

I visited this nice restaurant with friends on a Saturday night. The service was nice and we received valuable suggestions for the sushi, which was well prepared and with fresh fish. The only negative impression was given by the grilled tuna, it did not appeared as fresh as the one used for the makimono and without enough salt. On the... More

This has been our favorite Japanese restaurant for close to 10 years. Food is still very good, but service has become unreasonable disorganized and painfully slow. In a party of four table, we had +8 different glasses / cups and +6 plates at the same time for close to three hours and no one stopped to take some of them... More

This restaurant has been my favorite in santiago for ten years. But not any more. Quality has been very uneven for the last year. Sometimes it us unrevognizable. Rolls we have eaten for years just are not tasting the same. Quality of Service once a hallmark of the restaurant is not the same either. A pity.
