This restaurant is conveniently located to our hotel and it is always busy which we took as a good sign. We weren't disappointed. This is not fine dining, but the food was very tasty, portions are good and service was friendly. They even have an English menu if you ask!

Whenever we travel to Santiago, it is the first possibility, the tradition is maintained. The Sandwiches are great, big and the mayonnaise is wonderful. Tasty liquids and good varieties of beer. Those who serve are very friendly and fast.

I go to this restaurant almost everytime we go to Chile. I went here first in the 80s it ws good then and is still good. I have never had a bad meal or bad service here. I eat sandwiches but the other food is good also. I really like the area.

The worst french fries I ate in my entire life. they were terrible in every aspect: greasy, raw, oil-soaked. the sandwich we ordered was also just terrible… and, for the grand finale, the waiter got our order wrong. absolutely do NOT recommend, please go somewhere else.

I ordered 2 complete ones for delivery and a loin avocado mayo in mold. This last one is terrible, I add more ham in the morning to any sandwish I make with the little loin that came. Problems with the code upon delivery and all the bitterness of waiting for the reception code to be sent. I placed the order directly to the business

Stopped for a beer while wandering the neighborhood around our hotel. It’s an ok German style restaurant and bar. They have a half dozen beers on draft with many others in bottles. We did not try the food since the crowd was sparse. I hate to give it an average rating but there as no buzz here.

The place is nice, with tables inside e outside. The service is good even though the restaurant was full... The beer is very good and the food is fantastic. All with a very very fair price.

We tried to get into Fuente Alamana but found it a small counter seats only. It was full, so we wondered a few blocks and found El kika. We ordered the Completo Lomo, which rivals all the other restaurants.

Chile has a good tradition for sandwiches which go by the names listed in the title of this review. All of them with great bread, large portions and plenty of greens, meat and sauerkraut. El Kika is a restaurant that I have dined in on every occasion I visit Chile: It never disappoints. Of course, you need to set your expectations properly, this is your basic eatery and a great example of Chilean sandwiches.

As the sun sets after a hot day in Santiago, thoughts turn to the need for refreshment. El Kika is a good little outdoor German-themed bar/restaurant (there are indoor seats too, but in the heat it's nice to sit out), and we enjoyed the city buzz in this relatively sheltered corner.
The tall buildings all around shield the direct sun.
A beer and a sparkling water came to a modest 3,500, so it's a good place for those keeping an eye on costs. A good selection of beers.
We were served by a bearded waiter who seemed to have a lot on his mind.

The waiters weren't good, we need to ask several times to be attended. The food was regular, just ok. The only good thing here was the beer, diferents to choose. Be careful with the tip, if you don't give the right amount, ask for the change and check it. We had to ask for the change, otherwise the waiters wouldn't have retuned. We saw a group asking 5 times for the tip conference, because every time it came wrong, for less.

Located on a pedestrian street just off Av. Nueva Providencia to the right going east after Av. Pedro de Valdiva.

This place located in Providencia is such a great option to have lunch and dinner in Santiago. Sandwiches are very big and tasteful. Prices are about 5000 CLP including the "Propina".
I certainly advise this place, if you want to have good food and drinks.

The food was tasteless and it took a long time to place our order and get our food. Appears to be a place to sit for a beer and watch the sports channel on the many TVs.
