This restaurant is a very special place in a historical building in Santiago. From outside it is not easy to find. You need to know what is inside and where it is. Once you entered this restaurant, you can feel the tradition inside the walls. Traditional decoration, but no exageration at all. Very tipical and well prepared chilean and international... More

Our friend with family in Santiago recommended dinner at Ana Maria. From the moment we entered the establishment, we knew the recommendation was a winner. While our Spanish was a bit limited and the place is very local, we communicated well with the entire staff. And, when they gave us an English language menu, the extensive options came to life.... I have been 3 times in 2012 2 times in 2013 and back for the second time now and the food is as good as it ever was. I had the scallops with a parmesan sauce a avocado salad and the sword fish cooked to perfection.I make sure that whenever I'm in Santiago I eat there and never disappointed .... More

The food is excellent and very well presented. Service is excellent. Definitely top of the line but that comes with a higher price. We were part of a large family gathering so were served in a separate room without the ambiance of the main dining room.

Superb restaurant, especially if you want to go beyond traditional Chilean food. With a large family party, were accomodated in one of the nice side-rooms with paintings representative for the south of the country, thus preserving our privacy and commodity. Dishes were really nice, and thought through. Quite accustomed to eating game in Europe, this was a welcome deja vue... More

The place was totally packed, We ordered Reinetta, Trout and Salmon as main dishes.Hmmmmm.....delicious! Everything was fresh cooked and tasted amazing Service also was really good, personalized and friendly old waiters knowing what to do when the glass of wine was empty. Try the pisco 2oz as a starter cocktail!!!

We arrived at the restaurant for lunch at noon. We knew it was early but the waiter (still in street clothes) told us that they didn't open until 1:00 but we could wait at our table and have a drink if we liked. We were seated, menus passed and drinks were served along with bread and salsa. At about 12:30... More

Nice and clean place, excellent food and great selection. it's a little away from key neighborhoods but worth going there. After visiting some of Santiago finest restaurants Ana Maria was our favorite. Food was better and prices as well. should be at the top of the list of any foody.

I've been twice now with colleagues for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. I had an Angus steak with fries and salad (and tasted my colleague's filet mignon). Both were excellent, a l'ingès (rare). Today I had salmon with herb sauce and grilled vegis on the side. Scrumptious! I'll be back. Oh, the espresso tasted too much like Turkish/Greek coffee...
