Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they are only serving at the terrace and they follow the Covid-19 protocols. Our Peruvian server was very nice. We went there to eat ceviche and he recommended the ceviche del norte and the fisherman plate. This last one has a fish tiradito with rocoto sauce, fingers of fried fish and a causa with tomato and avocado. The fish fingers had tartar sauce. We were amazed at the size of the dishes, both were huge and they were really good. To drink we had artisan lager beer (Volcanes del Sur) and a mint ginger lemonade. This restaurant is not cheap but the size and quality of the dishes are worth it. Total bill with tip CLP 40k (about 56 bucks). This restaurant is part of the Gastón Acurio group.

It is located in the mall Alto Las Condes, in the outside terrazza on the top floor. I was there at lunch, the atmosphere is relaxed despite it was quite crowded, there is a lot of space, tables are not too close, service is professional and quick. Ceviche is fresh and good, I took the Norteño, my friend the Classic, with soda and coffee we paid 38.000 CLP.

Depending on the time you visit it could get a little hard to get a table, but it is totally worthy. Very well done dishes full of Peruvian flavors, the pisco sour was superb, dessert delicious (if have any room left). Service is great. Very very good choice to enjoy delicious food.

I greatly enjoyed my dinner on the heated patio of Tanta, one of many restaurants connected to Parque Arauco. Even though the servers on the night I visited did not fluently speak English, I still got by as a Spanish learner, and they were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The dish I ordered was generous in size, which certainly boosted its value and the restaurant’s experience in general; the flavors were tasty, although I would’ve preferred the chicken slightly less salty. All in all, I loved my time at Tanta and would return on my next Santiago trip!

Wait-staff spoke English so I asked for his recommendation - Fried Fish, shrimp, and calamari with thinly slide onions and tomatoes. Food was served hot and was very delicious. Wife ordered Lomo Saltos (Beef in a sauce) which was also very tasty and pieces of meat were very tender. Service was friendly and efficient and helpful since they spoke English. This is a place I would return to if I ever return to the area.

Nice food and good environment. We ordered Lomo Saltado and Estofado de Carne al Vino y Champiñones. Lomo Saltado was really delicious with tender meat and very tasty. Estofado de carne had a great risotto but the meat was a bit tough. Make sure to ask for a knife that can cut meat. Overall, a good experience.

Wide selection of dishes to share and some mains too. The fried seafood was heavy, not really tast and there was more fried dough than fish or prawns... For the main, fish was okay but served with a very sweet dressing and not really delicate. Portions are generous. Service was good with a courteous and professional young lady. Average place.

I used to go to Tanta in Parque Arauca frequently because it was a complete package, good food, service, ambience, etc. But the last few times the food has got so ordinary that I won't be going again in a hurry. This last time was the worst, it really felt like they were just trading on their name. Won't be going again until I'm convinced somehow that things have improved substantially.

As usual, I had a good experience in Tanta. I enjoyed a lot the octopus and tiraditos. I recommend it.

Two of us had dinner there. Chicken skewers with rice and a burger with guacamole. The burger can only be ordered well done or medium-well done! Lots of food but nothing to write home about!

One of the best Lomo Saltado that I have had in years. Great service. Good options in the menu. Location is excellent.

It was an OK place to eat; little bit crowded. The tonque I ordered was a little bit overcooked. Fast service.

Over the years Astrid and Gaston's Tanta restaurant in Parque Arauco is on a downhill slide. What started out as one more unit of the successful Tanta chain has deteriorated to an expensive and tasteless Chilean adaption of classical Peruvian recipes. Tonight's Pulpo al Olivo was smothered with a bland concotion that appeared to be a pinkish gooey pseudo mayonaisse with small chunks of brown olive (not the traditional dark purple olives). Little squares of tasteless red peppers substituted the hot Rocoto chili of the original recipe. The "Plato del Pescador" was bland, even the Tiradito sauce wasn't hot enough to cover the slimy consistency and foul smell of the fish. The "Pollo Nikei" had a large cold serving of rice topped off with an overcooked greasy piece of chicken. The duty manager´s excuse for the disgrace of the Plato del Pescador was that the bland taste was consistent with their Chilean clients' preference. No answer to our complaint for the slimy and foul tasting fish. However it was not charged to our bill. Definitely avoid this place. There are great eateries in the vecinity.

I expected great Ceviche which is a basic staple of any Peruvian restaurant.. I ordered the Ceviche and was VERY disappointed. My colleague also ordered the lomo saltado and i was not impressed as well. The meal was just not as tasty as I have eaten in Peru.. I am comparing to what I have had in Peru, so maybe its not a fair comparison but when going to a Peruvian restaurant I expect at a minimum that the food be similar to what I get in Peru...

Ceviche was decent, so were the anticuchos de corazon....they claimed they were grilled heart bits, but actually baked , so not as good as expected!
