This Peruvian food is always full in Santiago, so it is best to book in advance. The place is elegant and sophisticated and the food is something to remember! The food was delicious and the wine amazing! It was a dream dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

I'm quite new about the Peruvian food and now in Santiago I'd like to try more. We went two couples for dinner and we all had high expectations considering the excellent reviews from the public and critics. For me that I am a foodie it was good but not mind blowing. I've been to La Mar from the same group... More

This was not our first time at A & G in Santiago. Last times was excellent food and bad service (maybe because we have a child !) but, surprisingly, last time was exactly the opposite. Very good waiters (the same as before), much more educated maybe due to training but raw food, even acceptable if you talk about the tuna... More

Amazing food. Wine list worth a visit. And classic decór. This restaurant is one of my favorites in Santiago just for the wine list and its dessert that is a Chocolate cake with coconut that its like heaven!

This is THE BEST restaurant in Santiago. You'll need to make reservations days in advance, especially if you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night. Wonderful menu with French, Spanish, Peruvian, and Japanese influences as well as impeccable service, and a lengthy wine list. Pricey but worth it.

We had a really enjoyable meal here, first time, though husband was struggling to keep his eyes open (jetlag). The atmosphere is quite formal and the service was splendid. I chose the degustation menu - five courses from memory, and one featuring sea urchin roe (yum!). My only disappointment was the cooked fish course, which was a little dry. I... More

Experience, mix of flavors you can feel it just with one smell. My recommendations : perfect Peruvian pisco Sours, For the main like meat and pasta: Osobuco (prepare with 4 hour cooking in a low temp), taste like heaven. Wine : Santa Ema Merlo Reserva.( Bottle) ( great taste, price/quality) Dessert : crema volteada, suspiro limeño. Both are perfect

Given Astrid & Gaston is in the top 5 of the best 50 restaurants in South America list I had big expectations for our dinner. Our entrees were nice but not amazing. I had the duck breast for my main which again was nice but underwhelming. My husband had the roast pork for mid main which was an enormous portion... More

This place is absolutely wonderful, if you have 4 hours of spare time for a wonderful dinner! If one is in a rush you are absolutely on the wrong place. The service is slow, like in Frensh style or even worse maybe? But when the food arrives it's worth the waiting time, at least if you knew about what to... More
