The restaurant has a very fun, lively atmosphere and interesting decor. There seemed to be lots of locals. The food was good but not great -- more like Chilean comfort food. Would have liked to have been seated outside, but it was a very busy night and we would have missed the seeing the colorful inside. The service was prompt... More

Returned after five years... Just as good as ever we remember it! Great atmosphere without too much noise...we had to leave our dinner last night because of intolerable noise levels... The food was excellent quality... First class wine. Delicious icecreams. The service here is a joy to watch... It is like a well honed piece of ballet or a good... More

I have been there several times, and is a really a good place. Good service, and for lunch is also really fast. Tasteful dishes and refreshing drinks.

This is a popular place in Montevideo, the restaurant and bar are nicely decorated and they also have tables outside during summer days. Food is made with fresh ingredients and prices are not bad. Only thing I could complain about is the service, the place had so many customers that it was hard to get staff attention quickly.

I had read good reviews of this restaurant so decided to pay it a visit. The menu was artistically displayed in chalk on a blackboard outside. The interior has a classic and stylish feel and atmosphere, and it was full of locals enjoying lunch and a chat. The walls are adorned with classic pictures of film stars and musicians, and... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel as it offered typical Chilean and Peruvian cuisine and we were not disappointed. Problem was no one spoke English and or Spanish was not up to snuff. The menu was entirely in Spanish and the staff tried valiantly to explain the menu with hand gestures. Our order turned out to be... More

A wide range of food and alcohol with a great atmosphere. Our guide recommended it and it was obvious it was a hit with locals which made it great fun just to watch people. The staff were great and the food delicious. As it caters for locals there were no English menus or bilingual staff, but this added to the... More

Very good food. Went twice and had the same thing - Bife de lomo on Italian bread with sautéed onions. My girlfriend had the traditional Chilean sandwich (sorry I don't remember the name) that had beef, tomato, (what amounted to US green beans but sliced very thinly), and peppers. Don't remember what she had the first time but she enjoyed... More

We had a most enjoyable. Considering we cannot speak one word of Spanish the waiter for our table was changed to someone who can speak English and he methodically went through the whole menu. We had the rabbit and the lamb chops and both were cooked to perfection and excellent choices. Our waiter also suggested a really good red wine... More
