Good author food, great cafe, amazing sandwich. Expensive, but you pay what you get. The service is professional, supervised for the owner especially at lunchtime.

if you are in the historic district, you must try this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. We visited during lunch and enjoed a wonderful selection of small plates and open face sandwiches. Sandwiches are satisfying and inventive. Starters are full of fresh ingredients and wonderful pops of flavor. Eat inside or enjoy one of the outside tables and people watch.... More

We had a great lunch at Blue Jar late afternoon of our last day right before heading to the airport. I had a burger that was absolutely perfectly done and since I am really picky about hamburgers that's saying a lot. The fries were delicious too and my boyfriend enjoyed his curry. The only drawback were the prices which seemed... More

This was the first place I visited on my recent trip to Santiago, and it was perfect. The food was excellent. It was very busy at lunch time. I watched many dishes emerging from the busy kitchen and they all looked very appetising. Really helpful staff, including those who had no English. The home made lemonade was so refreshing, and... My brother and I enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. We took our time to eat lunch outside. Very helpful English speaking waitress. The meal and desserts were tasty. Reasonably priced at 37,950 including 2 meals, 2 desserts and 2 teas as well as propina(tip).

What a lovely place. Run and owned by Briton Cecile, the food and service is great, and it also serves Adnams ales on draught, although on a hot day, the homemade lemonade was more to my taste. coffee was excellent too, and the cafe sells this to take away. Really worth a visit.

My friend and I went here for breakfast and loved the place. Everything from the coffee to the service is great. We're definitely coming back for more than just breakfast!

While doing some legal paperwork in Santiago (and getting nowhere!), my wife and I happened upon Blue Jar after leaving the Ministerio del Interior. So glad we did! We had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is lively, the decor beautiful and the food innovative and delicious. (Best hand-cut fries I've had in Chile!) We were privileged to have the owner... More
