Meal was moderate. Used to shisha here but now it's banned. Owner has moved to Arab Street and opened a new shop there.

Went there for a late shisha. Pointers about restn: 1) Slow and bad service 2) Only serve "regular customers" aka friends 3) Bad food 4) Mint tea is an average mint flavored lipton sachet tea instead of original mint leaves 5) Expensive

Walked out to Pahang Street in search of shwarma before a movie with a friend. Had the eggplant moutabal with flat bread for starters, the lamb shwarma and the chicken shwarma. I must say that I should be objective. Even though it was a very poor experience. The appetizers were good. However, the service was very poor, we tried everything, to stand, scream or even clapping. It was very hard to call their attention, even though the crew is composed by 4-5 persons. The main course, was burnt! Really burnt! As... More

Terrible service, so-so food, bad atmosphere, pricey. Need I say more? Singapore has so many great restaurants that going to this one was a complete waste of an evening. We got the name from the Rough Guide, and am going to suggest they take it out of future books on Singapore.

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
