Large menu of different dishes to choose from. The food that we ordered are well cooked, flavorful and all having their own unique taste. Most importantly for me, it’s the vegetables. Never think that even vegetables can be so tasty. We tried mutton, sea weed,...minced meat noodle, bean sprouts, dumplings, buns and pork ear.More

If you’re looking for Northern China cuisine, this eating house is a good bet. I’ll return again when I crave for north eastern Chinese cuisine. There are so many dishes I wanted to try but we can’t eat them all. I really miss North-eastern China....Would recommend their scallion pancakes, sweet and sour pork 锅包肉,fried rice, dumplings and spicy shredded pork. Personally I can cook better sweet and sour pork, but the 锅包肉 skin can be crispy yet chewy and the meat a bit tough. It was like what we had when we were holidaying in NE China last year. Nevertheless, this is the characteristic of this dish and I’ll order it again. The ambience was quite rowdy and noisy when my family visited on a Sunday evening. We were the quietest table. There were ppl from China, Japan and local Singaporeans. But I enjoyed this happy, noisy and rowdy atmosphere with diners drinking beers. Everyone was having a great time.More

Visited this restaurant with my gf as she saw that its highly recommended on the Internet. Ordered mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork and cold noodles. Mapo tofu could be more spicy, and the noodles could be colder. Sweet and sour pork was crispy and...tasty, but something you could get from your neighbourhood zhi char restaurant. Food arrived quickly even during lunchtime. Pricing is average. Service was pretty bad, waitress having her thumb in the food when serving the dishes. Served can drinks without cup and ice. Forgot a few of our orders as well, have to be reminded a number of times before getting what we ordered. Just try once, wouldn’t go back second time.More

Really bad experience at this place, the staff is horrible. They give preference to people who can speak in Mandarin while let others wait or figure out things on their own. Won't recommend visiting this place to anyone in their right mind.

Latest review of the restaurant, trust me. I'm not sure what happen to their staff or the quality control but... Superbly awful and bad price, ordered delivery of several items such as intestines, brinjal, la zi ji (chicken) and guess what? Food was delivered in...awful small quantity and taste was worst than imagined. Compared to Dong bei Xiao Chu and the Dong fang kitchen at China Town mrt, this is so bad I can't believe why are there so many 5 stars review here. Just to justify why is it so bad, 1) price and food portion horrendous, utterly small for Chinese cuisine. 2) the intestines were freaking smelly 肥肠 3) the pork dishes including the pork belly was super hard, not tender 4) the la zi ji was the tiny little pieces, scraps with no meat In the end we threw away most of it. Disappointing and will never patronise this stall.More

Plenty of choices to choose from their extensive menu and our favourite is their dumplings which taste good both fried and steam. Restaurant can get quite pack during lunch time but they have a second level which can accomodate the busy lunch crowd.

Came here with colleagues for lunch whenever any one of us is craving for good Chinese dumplings. It's great value for money here as portions are quite generous. There's a wide variety of Chinese food, and we highly recommend trying either the steam or fried...dumplings when you're here!More

Nice north-eastern chinese cuisine in Singapore. Their dishes are all on the saltier and stronger taste side. Most of them are all big portions and cheap and very flavourful. The down side is that it is not very spacious and when I was there, it...was very noisy. My dishes of choice: Fried sweet fish cube - surprisingly good Shredded potato - tasty and crunchy Dumplings - love it as it is tasty with thin skin Tomato egg - standard good Beef tofu soup - my favourite although a little on the salty side Scallion pancakes - kids favourite Many other dishes - all good! Highly recommended!More

The place serves great Chinese food at a affordable price. I loved the sweet and sour pork, dumplings as well as beef stew with enoki mushrooms
