This reltes to the original Chinatown stall. When we passed the queue was shorter than previous visits and so after a 35 minute wait we wanted to try it all and bought us some char siu, some pork ribs, some crispy roasted pork with two...More

I went here during lunch, after hearing about this place online. However having lived in Singapore before, I've tried plenty of better food at various hawker centers. The restaurant is extremely busy, and the tables are often quite dirty.

I visited the hawker based upon 1 Michelin start. I do not know how they got that, and I agree with other visitors that it is not worth any star. The chicken was uncooked, red fresh blood was dripping from joints and bones. Must be...More

The "first Michelin star" hyped hawker expansion unfortunately compromised on quality. While soon after opening the place at 78 Smith Street all was very good, at my recent visit the scale-up and the commercialization hit the quality. It is certainly legitimate to take favour of...More

Where else can you go for a Michelin Star meal for like $10 for two people? Had the Chicken with noodles and the greens with crunchy bits. Super epic.

So I have to admit that I read the reviews before going, but I put my faith in Michelin, not TripAdvisor reviewers. Should have listened to the TripAdvisor reviewers. This place was all hype! The meal was served at room temperature, the chicken was full...More

No reservations. Closed on Wednesdays. The stall might still be open at early dinner hours. Alternatively you can try their airconditioned outlets which should still be opened at late evenings.

Hello. There is no longer a street stall in the Hawker centre. Once he became big news all over the world he opened a restaurant over the road. It is still the same price and the queues are the same but I stress that in my... More
