We have visited this place under the impact of internet reviews... :) "Michelin star cafe", "Popular place" and so on. But it was nothing special. Absolutely ordinary cafe. Just a fastfood. We took chicken rice and chicken noodle. And it was not tasty. Visit only "for check-in".

Not a big fan of soy sauce chicken rice. Enjoyed the soup. I had hokkien mee as well in the same Hawker at sim lim, preferred that

Love this soya sauced chicken. May not be the famous Michelin Star stall but surely worth a go. Highly recommended...for the food and surely no meandering queue

I could eat soya chicken on a weekly basis. It was really fortunate that when we visited this restaurant there was not a long line up. This is a nice outside location with nice contemporary fixtures and practical furniture. Clean and efficient. Prices pretty decent. I came for the chicken not for the barbeque pork or cha siew. The soya color of the chicken skin was tantalizing and the taste was exquisite. I completed my meal with the daily soup which hit the spot. Probably would not have visit this spot if not for the Michelin writeup.

Massively hyped up because of the Michelin thing, but in truth it was absolutely awful 'fast-food'. I was brought here by a Chinese colleague and she was really disappointed. The food was terrible. The place had the atmosphere of a chain of fast food restaurant. The staff were surly. Awful. Avoid. There are so many nicer places to eat. Don't be influenced by the Michelin award.

Maybe we were expected to much from one star michelin restaurant but the experience was very disappointing.
The place was not crowded at all and that not explain why the floor was dirty.
we received our order a short time but it was cold and we didn’t like to eat a cold chicken, the noodles and the rice was barely okay and not over

We visited the location just outside Chinatown Hawker complex after it was recommended to us and we were not impressed. It wasn’t bad at all but didn’t really “wow” us. Not worth a special trip or hours waiting for sure. I thought one of the stalls we ate at inside the Chinatown hawker Complex was better (one of the highly rated ones). Seems very touristy to me.

When I heard this, I thought I had to try. It does Chicken rice and not much else. The food was delicious and popular but not crazily so. Place your order after a small wait and then another short wait and the food is ready. Plastic tables, beer and soft drinks on sale. No frills, just the food. It was delicious and incredibly cheap with or without the Michelin star. Recommended.

About 2 hours in line but was there 1,5 hours before they open and got food pretty quick . Ordered 4 plates of different meals, payed equal to 7 USD totall!

A bit underwhelmed actually, I guess I expected more from a one-Star Michelin eatery. The chicken was actually very good and flavorful, but it is really only a order-at-the-counter, fast-food restaurant. I don't pretend to understand the criteria used to award the star. Okay, good, not great, nothing really exceptional.

Went here on the basis of it having a Michelin star, this is very prominently displayed. The food was very poor, we both had chicken with noodles, it was Luke warm and bland. Not worth going to. I did a bit of looking afterwards and I think the star is awarded to the hawker stall in the complex over the road from the reasturant. The whole complex was closed from refurb when we were there.

Disregard the previous reviews this place is 5stars - for value for money alone you can not beat it!
The meat was cooked perfectly, we all left at lunch wanting to go back for dinner!

I visited this restaurant with my mom and we were really excited and had high hopes for the food because the place have received a Michelin star some years ago. We ordered the original chicken and rice and I have to say we were really dissapointed. The food was not in anyway special or tastier than in other food stalls. I would not have guessed that the place have received a Michelin star if I have not known about it.
