1. Food Variety of food is limited. Menu is basically stuff like crab sticks, meat ball, fishball etc. 2. Soup base 👎🏼. Was looking forward as it’s my first time gg to King’s laksa. Was expecting the laksa soup base be thick and flavourful. To...my greatest surprise, the so call laksa soup is bland. To make it worse, the TOP up was done with chicken soup and apparently the staff can said they TOP up with laksa soup. Blatantly. 3. Service Normal. Can be better. 4. Price Too expensive for such quality. 2 adults spend $72, for fried food and balls? 🤷🏼‍♂️ 5. Social distancing FAIL. NOT SAFE AT ALL. Food were left out for customer to SELF-SERVICE. Never will I return to eat at this place.More

4 types of soup base available, I went with the herbal and laksa. I personally prefer the herbal as compared to the laksa. As compared to the other places where you don't taste any herbs at all, you can taste some of the herbs as...well as the sweetness from the chinese wine. Cooked food, meat and seafood must be ordered and they will serve it according to the number of pax. Vegetables and other normal hotpot ingredients such as fishballs and vegetables are self service. The restaurant tries to prevent food wastages as much as possible so they really control the portions given and it was a quite a hassel because there was just 1 floor staff and we had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for each order to be taken. I liked their deep fried tofu with sweet chilli but due to controlled portions, a small bite is served for each order. I would give the mutton a miss though because the colour of meat was served black and the smell wasn't pleasant. The ice cream selection was good in terms of it not being the standard cheapo plain flavours. Strawberry ice cream had strawberry bits, even the taro had small chunks of yam. There were 7 flavours available. Drinks were also good, I would recommend the sour plum or lemongrass to go along with the heavy meal. Overall for the price paid, can't grumble much about the selection as this place offers one of the cheapest hotpot buffet.More

The laksa soup and the chicken soup base is good. There is quite a variety of raw dishes to choose from. For meat you will need to order and they will serve you out from the freezer. This is perfect to maintain the condition of...the meats. The cooked food eg. fried chicken wing is well done. I book through Eatigo apps on a weekday and with discount. Overall experience is good with this price.More

Love the laksa soup base and it definitely goes well with the chicken/herbal. Went at odd hour, which the restaurant is quite empty and very cold, but the soup warm us up very well. There's a few dishes where it will be cooked to order...and it's very tasty. Definitely recommend to try it out. The ban mian is nit up to standard though, take their ramen option instead.More

The Laska soup base is too salty at the midway towards the ending. The surrounding is very relax, we like it.

We have ordered alll the meat however all the meat are tasteless! It’s a budget steamboat so we must expect the minimal! The fried stuff are way better! The tofu is tasty & the Har Jiong Gai is very good! The chicken wings have fully...absorbed the seasoning!More

First time there, reservation made for Sat noon, we reached there slightly late around 2 pm, but surprisingly no customer at all... we (2 pax) are the first customer of the day I guess... anyway we ordered laksa & chicken soup base, the laksa soup...base is good, strongly recommended!! Ingredients are fresh, all well prepared, they also served tasty finger food on order basis too... We doubt about the food standards initially but after a satisfying meal, we will definitely go back again!!More

Two flavours of steamboat base to choose from, highly recommend the laksa base. There's a wide variety of ingredients to order, like seafood, meat, veg etc. there's also free flow of drinks and ice cream. You can even request for beancurd dessert! :) service is...excellent as the staff is friendly. Ambience wise it's bright, with air conditioned room, and very clean and spacious. Ample parking spots around the area. Will be back! 26.90 per adultMore
