Cannot believe the positive reviews here, so maybe we were unlucky and caught them on a bad night. We found the food very poor. The pork belly was tough and chewy and tasteless and the crackling was not crispy. The ribs were the best of a bad bunch but were just... The sirloin was also not nice and quite tasteless.... More

I dropped into Intrepid Gastrobar on numerous occasions. A stylish Gastrobar with a vibe next to chilled and relaxed at any time of the day or night. The food was deliciously mouthwatering, to consume was next level, with a great variety of beers of your choice. Served promptly with on point customer service. Intrepid Gastrobar, a sure place to return... More

Went for a casual dinner and ordered kangaroo skewer, tomato soup and a medium rare sirloin steak. Bottom line: Steak was raw and cold to the touch, accompanying sauce was thought- an taste-less. When I returned it they came back asking me to explain what a medium rare steak is... Skewer had uncooked onions on it, tomatoe soup was totally... More

Dear Dennis Jane We remember your visit fondly with us last Friday evening. While we take note of your feedback, there are a few facts to be highlighted on what you ordered and served to you on the night. Our striploin set meal for $21.50 is very popular around this area. With 100 day aged grass fed striploin, complimentary soup... More

Not a bad place for a good bite. The decor is understated, a bit misleading and it easy to walk past without realizing what is there. As such, I never been there when there is a crowd; unfortunately that means it lacks a bit of atmosphere. I've had casual lunches here with colleagues and drinks and dinner with friends at... More

We visited this place on our most recent trip to SEA, and we enjoyed it very much. Singapore is known for being expensive, but this place was not too much of a hit on the wallet. We had cheeseburger sliders, which were awesome. Then we had some grilled crocodile skewers, which we were a bit skeptical about being that it's... More

unique and yummy, that's what I would return for, ie eggs benedict on rosti as well as the smoky beef sausage. Service and ambience ok. Good quiet place on a sunday morning.

We chanced upon this place on a sunday afternoon for lunch. It was the inly place opened and from the outside looked decent. First hint that maybe we could have picked the wrong place was that the menus were in terrible condition...torn,faded. Essentially paper stuck on a plastic board. Upon placing our order, the service staff chose not too write... More

Hi Timmartin 88 We regret to hear you and your guests' unpleasant visit with us. We had a trainee service staff attended your table on the busy Sunday. It would have definitely help for her to have written down the orders which is an improvement feedback we will convey to the staff. On a positive hindsight though, she did take... More

Ordered a 12 grain salad and was delivered 10 leaves of lettuce with some seriously out of date salmon slices on top. My guest had a different salad which arrived a full 30 minutes after mine. Never again.

Hi Nick Glee We regret to hear your unpleasant visit with us. We were in fact full house during brunch that day and with a kitchen team in training, we acknowledged the slow service on Sunday during your visit. To give a context to your order of ancient grain salmon salad, this dish predominantly features the different healthy grains (as... More

Wanted to have lunch at Oosters but found it closed on Sunday. Intrepid was the only restaurant open in the area so decided to give it a try. Worse ever choice. The Salmon in the Benedict Twins was stale, nauseated. Cost $16. Black Angus sliders (19.50) served with jack and jill potato chips. The prawns and Chorizo risotto was blend... More

Hi Twins12 We regret to hear Timmartin 88, you and your guests' unpleasant visit with us. To give some perspective on the salmon benedict ordered, our house hot smoked salmon with Aussie bush herbs is made fresh daily. It is definitely unlike the commercially produced salmon found in the supermarket that is salt laden with preservatives. We have generally received... More

A cosy joint to have beer with your mates after work, decent Aussie-inspired food and free tibits to go with. Enjoyed the beer and food pairing with New Zealand's Moa beer. Had the tripel which is not too bad, the roast pork is alright but fails to hit the spot though. There are 4 different pairs, will give the other... More
