We had family visit us in Singapore so we thought we'd take them to dinner at Boat Quay. They wanted to try chilli crab, and this place looked good. The food was nice and the wait staff were fairly attentive. The main downside was the price - not so much for the crab (we were expecting that), but $20 for... More

Went with a friend and we picked the place mostly on nice location by the river. We were promised 2 free drinks included. We pick 3 small dishes (beef with vegetable, chicken red curry, steamed vegetables) and a medium fried rice with egg - price 120 SGD which is pretty much double price vs many other places. The two free... More

I had dinner here on a Monday night by myself. I was walking down the river and looking for a restaurant. They offered my a free beer and I went in, since the place was very crowded and seemd very lively. My seat was just at the river. I just had sweet and sour chicken and noodles with soja sauce.... Outrageous prices for very mediocre food. If chairs could be closer together you would be dining on each other's lap. Should have known better but I would steer well clear from this very bland food - under cooked fish, over cooked prawns in a gloopy brown BBQ sauce (allegedly) and the plainest of squid. The peanuts & towels were also... More

Walking on Boat Quay we were invited into this restaurant by a waitress. The restaurant (which appears Thai cooking) is housed in a large room rather bare, at the entrance some glass tanks are on display, with huge live crabs of different species. The waitress proclaimed that there would be for us a strong discount on food, and the drinks... More

We've been to Forum a few times because of its location on Singapore river and its Sri Lankan Chilli Crab. Comments on our last visit: - Chilli Crab: we paid $5 per 100 gr, $70 for 1.4kg crab. Price is not cheap but not very expensive either for this area. You can definitely find it cheaper in some other locations... More

If you like your food being served at different times, questionable food, funky tastes, rude staff, high prices, and being scammed...then go here. Otherwise I'd recommend elsewhere. Wish I could rate zero stars on this place.

This place is the cheapest happy hour in the area. Also white wine was quite cheap too. The quality was exceeded me and my friends expectations. The food menu seem right on the roof. For example stir fried local veggies dishes price 22$ each.. Woah it was unreal. The seafood dishes charge per 100 grams which you can't know how... More

Food was awful, fried rice with seafood had only beans and eggs and just 2-3 small small pieces of seafood. We didn't get the promised free drink, neither the 20% discount they also promissed. Prices very very high, you can get excellent food anywhere for much less. Avoid it, it doesn't worth it.

Thank Adela I
