Whilst doing some sightseeing and shopping in Chinatown we popped into this restaurant located on Pagoda Street. We enjoyed some refreshing cold drinks as it was extremely warm and the fans were a welcome addition. We ordered a Bamboo Curry to share. There was plenty of food for the two of us which was delightfully presented in an authentic bamboo... More

It was delicious. A little expensive for me 'cause it wasn't a lot of food. The staff was kind. If you want to feel like in China, you got to try it.

You must try the chilli crab in this place. It was so tasty and delicious. Great service and perfect people watching location in the heart of chinatown. I will be recommending this place and definately coming back for more on my next visit to Singapore!

I was very hungry and became very disappointed. We sat here because it looked local, Chinese and good. I ordered a Singaporean Laksa which for a local dish was terrible. I've had lods of Laksas in the past in this was far from decent standard. It had no vegetables, it wasn't good and didn't taste good. Price wasn't generous so... More

Everyone we spoke to advised us not to bother going to Chinatown but you have to find these things out for yourself. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant, the food was fresh & tasty & the service lovely & friendly. It was lovely sitting outside being able to watch the hustle & bustle of Chinatown in the evening. Not sure if... More

Walking around China Town was hot and humid and then I found this delightful old world charming restaurant attached to the Heritage Museum. Seems to attract both European and Asian, in cozy atmosphere. You can claim 50% off the entry to the Museum if you dine here. The food was lovely along with a few soothing bottles of Tiger. Really... My partner and i just landed in Singapore and were keen for a beer and some food, this was pretty much the first place we saw so we tried it. The food was tasty and presented well but a couple of beers, 2 entree and 2 main $90 seemed a bit high to us

We totally loved all the food! It's undoubtedly one of the best. So many options to choose from & we love everything from mains to desserts, not to mention the breathtaking view of the city. We highly recommend here to everyone

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
