We were there to celebrate my wife birthday. She was 43 years old, thus we get 43 slices of fresh salmon sashimi. We had to buy 4 sets of ramen or donburi, and they are so tasty. The soya sauce and wasabi taste mild and...More

I bought a Chope voucher at $45 for $50. My bill came to $49++, just short of $50. Was perfectly happy to write off the few cents. But Sumo refused to let us use the voucher until our bill crossed $50. I was obliged to...More

While the venue was not conspicuous, I felt Sumo Bar Happy offered tasty food at great value. Enjoyed the beef ramen and char siew donbori. The Sashimi Birthday promotion was a great deal for the family too.

Hidden corner between Waterloo Street and Queen St. Be sure to make a reservation if you are more than 2. The bar counter is nice though. The place is very small, hence fills up easily. The broth of ramen is amazing! The signature bowl is...More

Eatery's priority is on customer turnover, service is very bad and customer satisfaction is not their goal.
