We stopped here for lunch while in Chinatown. We wanted a place where our 10 and 11 year old would be willing to try some new local foods. The menu had pictures to help show what to expect, and the food was really quite good. The kids tried a few dishes and loved then. My husband and I enjoyed everything.... More

Had dim sum which was tasty and at a fine price. Not much to say. The food is as expected. Good price on beer!

This place opens early at 7am. The prices quite reasonable ranging from SGD 2 - SGD 4 plus. Depending on what you order, it can be cheap or expensive. The porridge portion is quite big. For small eaters, you might want to share with another person. They also have Claypot porridge for 2-3 pax. Oh yeah you might want to... More

Typical Dim Sum restaurant. Waiters hurrying along with plates of steaming food, the kitchen hazy from all the boiling pots and lots of noise. The food was great and so was the service. They have a good selection of both steamed and fried items, we ordered pork and shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, fried rice, steamed vegetables, shrimp paste and fried... More

Came here around 9.30pm (they close at 10.30 and after 10 they only serve you outside). I ordered rice roll with char siew and pork ribs along with milk tea. The taste were so standard nothing wow.

It's seem like this place quite well known for Bangkokians. My family request to visit this place last month for dim sum. We ordered a few plates of Har gow, eggs tart, chiu chow fun gor, and many more. Most of steam food was a little bit salty. The price was cheap. The service was decent.

We went there around 5pm on a weekday and it was relatively quiet, only 4 tables was occupied. Price of food items are reasonable for its relatively small serving. The fried carrot cake was a disappointment as it tasted dried and cold. However the steam beancurd skin roll was served steaming hot and taste great.

I never used to like congee, but a friend of mine recommended I try it here and I discovered that it can be very tasty. I also love their dim sum.

Walk past this shop otw to the nearby hawker centre. Picture of food on the wall looks good. Actual portion much smaller. Taste, bad when compared to what u get from hong kong or the traditional dim sum restaurant in Singapore. Except for location, you are better off going to nearby hawker centre to try out Singaporean breakfast. Just done... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
