I tried this place with some friends while looking from alternatives after many crab places. First we looked inside and the feeling was not good. A smelly mist was setting all around discouraging us to ask for a table inside. Then we faound space outside and there it was much better. We orderd sushi, sashimi, grilled squid and some beef.... A very cosy place, you really feel in Japan. The sashimi and sushi is very good, and an extra star for the excellent grilled squid and the very good tempura. They have a good selection of Sochu. The food and the white whines are a bit on the expensive side, but Singapore is in general expensive and I think it... More

2nd visit to this outlet as they open till late and relatively near my house. Pros: The location is right smack in the clarke quay entertainment area and the setting is a typical japanese izakaya restaurant but with more sitting. The internal and external decorations are commendable and has a very Japanese feel to it and will make it a... More

You want a riverfront restaurant vith a view ? That's what you get and that's what you pay for. The food and everything else is just an add-on. The food itself is very good, tried several dished and nothing to complain about - except that the portions are tiny (half of what I'd be expecting in a similarly priced restaurant... More

This gem is a must-visit! It doesn't look very exciting on first glance but it serves amazing, good quality Japanese food which was plentiful but not too much per portion. The food comes out when it's ready so we found it came in dribs and drabs but that was ok as we shared it all. Not so good if you're... More

Good selection of the various types of Japanese cuisine and great location by the water at the heart of Clarke Quay. It took a while for them to take our order but then the food came quickly and was hot, fresh and tasty. This is a tourist area with lots of restaurants and Tomo seems a good choice to have... More

In between me and my Cousin we had Tempura Udon, Fresh oysters, Ebi tempura and umeshyu. Ebi was smelly, stinks of ammonia, noticeable if you don't dip it in the soya sauce. Oysters, Udon ok. won't be back as service isn't good, staff is blur..
