First time I went there. Quite poor service. We had to ask twice for drinks, empty plates, napkins. It is the first in my life that bring edamame as a last course. They don't know how to treat customers. Even the menu is old and dirty. It was a mistake to choose this place. At the end, food was normal... More

We started out with really poor service - they forgot our booking and when seated it was ages before they even came back to take drink orders - BUT then it improved, we really enjoyed the food (good quality, readonable orice) and service improved as the place got busier (strange!) ... we'd probably go back

Most members of the staff are unfriendly, impolite and unprofessional. Food was coming in with big intervals. One plate every now and then. Our 3 mains came within a 20 minute period. And expensive for what you get.

Situated right by the river, this restaurant bar offers the casual diner a great view, good draft Japanese beer, and wonderful sake. Also, it has a good selection of sushi and sashimi. A good experience indeed.

I tried this place with some friends while looking from alternatives after many crab places. First we looked inside and the feeling was not good. A smelly mist was setting all around discouraging us to ask for a table inside. Then we faound space outside and there it was much better. We orderd sushi, sashimi, grilled squid and some beef.... A very cosy place, you really feel in Japan. The sashimi and sushi is very good, and an extra star for the excellent grilled squid and the very good tempura. They have a good selection of Sochu. The food and the white whines are a bit on the expensive side, but Singapore is in general expensive and I think it... More

2nd visit to this outlet as they open till late and relatively near my house. Pros: The location is right smack in the clarke quay entertainment area and the setting is a typical japanese izakaya restaurant but with more sitting. The internal and external decorations are commendable and has a very Japanese feel to it and will make it a... More

You want a riverfront restaurant vith a view ? That's what you get and that's what you pay for. The food and everything else is just an add-on. The food itself is very good, tried several dished and nothing to complain about - except that the portions are tiny (half of what I'd be expecting in a similarly priced restaurant... More

This gem is a must-visit! It doesn't look very exciting on first glance but it serves amazing, good quality Japanese food which was plentiful but not too much per portion. The food comes out when it's ready so we found it came in dribs and drabs but that was ok as we shared it all. Not so good if you're... More
