I did give this a 4 star rating due to servings and patronage. The soup is fishy due to the small oysters/mussels and that is not the flavour I look for or like in a laksa. The bowl is full of cut noodles (chopsticks not needed) and a small bowl is enough for a normal lunch. Beer available. I won't... More

The diner on the TV show said this place had the best laksa because it has oomph. I have no basis for comparison but I agree about the oomph. The laksa was great and nice and spicy. I kicked it up a notch with one of the chili pepper packets the proprietor gave me. This is a delicious soup. Small... More

This is a well known brand with a long list of celebrity visits as shown on its "wall of fame". I am not a general fan ok laksa but this stall does it particularly well I feel. I ordered the small/regular bowl with an otah. The otah is nothing to scream or exclaim about but at least it is not... More

There are 2 shops on the same road, they are the same. I have tried them both but couldn't find the photo of the older shop. Anyway this is my MUST GO place every times when I visit Singapore although it was a bit far and I had to take taxi just to go there every times. I just never... More

If you are after a quick fix of laksa head to this place. No frills .. Small or large size and dont expect any service. It is line up- order - pay and get grunted at .. and enjoy! Maybe it was just the server but he was functional and process driven The laksa was tasty - no need for... More

Laksa - fairly good quality, but too much laksa noodles with too little beansprouts, prawn and cockles. Chilli paste in packaging - perhaps their chilli paste is more special than other places?! (Not sure bout that part) Shop - overall clean but not very pleasant place to stay for long outing. Overall - slight overpriced for Singapore hawker store. The... More

This is truly the best laksa I have ever had! This Laksa is the winning laksa from the competition with Gordon Ramsay. If you are in Singapore, you must try this Laksa. I had it take away but next time will try it fresh there with other side dishes.

Does not taste as nice as it used to be. The portion for the price is a rip-off. The clams are so small now and so few there are... where is the genuine Laksa?

Yup. They are so successful, they've started charging GST. A small bowl of laksa costs $5.50 and the large, $7.50. Taste wise, seems to have changed from the original. Essential, but not the best
