Two sizes of laksa were served - Small (with shelled small prawns) and Large (with unshelled prawns). We ordered their small portion as we had an early lunch nearby. A generous dollop of chilli paste and Vietnamese coriander was served on top of the laksa....The gravy was flavourful, enhanced with dried shrimps. The small shop has an indoor and outdoor dining area. The walls have photos of celebrities who have patronised the shop. The order taker cum cashier was unfriendly. It was difficult to distinguish her spoken words. As our order of sealed longan drinks was not served with straws, we picked the wrong straw. When we approached her for help, she informed us curtly that we had picked the wrong straw. Wouldn't it be more helpful for her to provide the correct straw in the first place?More

I visited the restaurant with expectation that the laksa will be good but the thick bee hoon is cold and dont taste as nice. Other normal laksa (non katong laksa) is better. After visiting the shop, I understand that it is not the authentic katong...laksa. There is another authentic at the other side of the road. Dim sum is not as nice in the shop as well. Otah though taste good but it is cold. Not recommended.More

Been coming to this branch for a long time and their prices have increased over the years but the uncle still remains the same as well as the delicious laksa.

This was a takeaway order for me (ate maybe 20 mins later) and it still tasted good, the thick bee hoon was not soggy. I don't usually order laksa because it is too 'rich' and creamy for me, but this laksa has the right balance...of spice and cream. It has a bits of hae bee (shrimp) which adds on to the umami taste and I even felt like 1 bowl is not filling enough! I also added otah, and tried their nasi lemak. Both are average and nothing to shout about. It was overall a good and quick meal. It can get very crowded on weekends, be prepared to wait for a seat!More

Heard so much about Katong laksa - was surprised it's self-service, making it seem like fast food. I have tasted better laksa. It's is not bad, but overrated.

No trip to Singapore is not complete without eating at 328 Katong Laksa! You must order a bowl of their famous laksa, a spicy soup made with vermicelli noodles and coconut gravy, mixed with a variety of seafood, including clams, prawns, and muscles. Fair warning:...this soup is not for those with a weak constitution when it comes to spicy food. I couldn't even get through the entire bowl, but I’m certainly glad that I tried it. Hopefully by my next visit, I’ll be like the rest of the locals and eat my entire bowl of laksa like a champ.More

The food was great. We ordered Laksa, fishcake and rice with fried small fish. I really enjoyed all of them. Wish the restroom was nicer tho. It is located in outside. Smelled pretty bad. It needs to be cleaner since it is related to restaurant....とても美味しく頂きました。ラクサ、ツミレ、小魚を上げたものとご飯を頼み全て大満足でしたが、お手洗いがシンガポールで行った中で一番きれいではなかったのが残念です。More

Always visited this outlet whenever I’m in Singapore. Last visit was 2 days ago and we sat outside because it was noisy even with a table of 6-7 people inside. Prices have gone up and the ingredients have dropped. Don’t be fooled by the photos...they displayed at the counter. Laksa came with a few thinly sliced fish cakes and 2 baby prawns, sliced in half. Cashier is unfriendly and wasn’t helpful with our query. Will not be returning as there are better places serving as good laksa and at a lesser price.More

That thick coconut gravy with chilli and a tad of mince dried shrimps, sparingly dash of herbs on white thick chewy noodles, fish cake, mince meat, cockles (if you have strong stomach) ... just brings back memories
