Definitely the laksa is a must try! And is amazingly delicious! I totally dig the sambal ! No wonder locals are really patronizing it.

The store front is not eye catching and the decoration looks a bit cheesy. The entire wall is covered with photos of celebrities visiting the premise prior to the renovation. Not sure if they would want to walk into this updated version again as it no longer looks like an authentic local eatery but an upstart fast food joint. The... More

This is simple Singapore food, yet it has amazingly complex variations. This place does it up right, and all at a really inexpensive price. The ingredients are fresh, the service is friendly if condescending to white folks, and the beer is frosty. You cannot go wrong with a bowl of seafood laksa here.

We ate there 2 days ag, the food was good and the service was fast. Tasty & unpretentious. If you're in a hurry & in the vicinity a good place to eat.

One of my favourite whenever I happen to be in this part of Singapore. From i recalled, the place has been renovated not too long ago, lost its old-world restaurant charm. The laksa itself is still the same, one of the best !

Tried it first time as visitor to Singapore and was not disappointed. Not too rich or coconuty and almost seemed just right. No frills nothing fancy just good old fashion tasty laksa. Recommend it!

328 was one of the factors we considered when choosing a hotel . . . my husband basically wanted to have a bowl of the tasty laksa everyday in our 5 day trip. We finally stayed at the Hotel Indigo on East Coast Road which is just opposite 328 Katong laksa, the main branch. Every time we ordered the laksa... More

I had this Laksa two years back. I've gone back again last week and it was still as good. Considered cheap by foreigners, a tad more (SGD 1) more than local hawker center but it was generous size and in air-conditioned place so it was worth the price. Satisfying and nice. There are also well known for a local dish... More

This place is not fancy, it is friendly, its cheap, and it will fill you up. If you happen to be in east coast Singapore, do try.
