We had a spectacular brunch here. Food selection was quite diverse, and nicely prepared and presented. We had a little bit of perhaps almost everything. I tend to work around the edges, first. Notable are the tenderloin and lamb chops, fois gras shooters brought around to tables, and the baked scallops. Although seemingly innocuous, the mashed potatoes to accompany the... More

Their nightly cocktail and drinks free flow is great value at under 40 bucks for two hours. Not a great range or exotic range but good solid drinks-well served and tended and free chip nibbles. Sit in the splendor of an old colonial watering hole and have a snifter as the night falls. If its a Friday they have an... More

Because the Raffles Long Bar was so crowded, we decided to have a drink here. Much less crowded, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a very impressive brunch! There's a large selection of food items to meet everyone's tastes ranging from crayfish and oysters to Japanese bites to pasta! The hot food section of roasts and sides were delicious! The whole setup is excellent! Our waiter, Brian, was very attentive and preempted specific drinks to serve with the food we were eating before... More

The Long Bar is a great experience, but it does get very busy and noisy. So if you're not particularly fussed about throwing peanut shells on the floor (or have visited the Long Bar before), and would like to experience the beauty and elegance of Raffles, have a drink at the Bar and Billiard Room instead. We tried the famous... More

Fantastic selection of food. Stations are very thoughtfully placed throughout the dining area. All offerings were of very high quality. Service was personalised, attentive, and efficient. One of the better brunches in Singapore

Got off the cruise liner and visited for brunch. Wonderful quality and selection of foods. We hadn't booked and were, I think, very fortunate to get a table for four. Also lovely to have a walk around the hotel grounds.

Off the radar of most tourists. Wonderful historic atmosphere and great drinks packages on Friday nights (freshly shucked oysters and french champagne)

My wife and I went along yesterday to have a drink in the Billiard room at Raffles. We choose a bottle of Pol Roger $158. Sorry was the reply we don't have it,the waitress suggested another one Billecart Salmon, we waited 10 minutes while other customers whom came in after us were served ( strange I thought) then the waitress... Be amazed at the wide spread of food upon entry; a lot of varied appetisers to choose from, followed by seafood bar, hot dishes, premium meats and desserts. The live stations whipping up salmon with caviar, and the sea urchin dish was da-bomb. Restaurant was full-housed during the Sunday brunch, and there could be more service staffs to cater to... Once a billiard hall, Bar & Billiard Room is today a bar that offers some 400 hand-selected whiskies, with many limited editions and labels imported just for this establishment. Among them include ones from Scotland, Japan and the US. Lending its influence to the cocktail menu, the single malts have also gone on to inspire whisky-based beverages. On Fridays and Saturdays, live jazz performances offer a touch of old world glamour to the setting. Come Sunday, the champagne is popped and becomes an invaluable addition to the buffet brunch. Expect a spread featuring fresh seafood, cold cuts and signature carving favourites. Regarded as the oldest existing bar in its original location in Singapore, Bar & Billiard Room is an institution within Raffles Singapore. It occupies a standalone building built in 1896, and was the first in the country to have a lady bartender stirring up a storm in the 1920s. Inside, chandeliers hang down from the high ceiling and the floor tiles are replicas of the original. One of the five original billiard tables from the turn of the century can be found there, where guests are welcomed to play a round or two. Picture windows look out to the surrounding thick foliage, interrupted by elegant cast-iron frames that compose the terrace.
