Got off the cruise liner and visited for brunch. Wonderful quality and selection of foods. We hadn't booked and were, I think, very fortunate to get a table for four. Also lovely to have a walk around the hotel grounds.

Off the radar of most tourists. Wonderful historic atmosphere and great drinks packages on Friday nights (freshly shucked oysters and french champagne)

My wife and I went along yesterday to have a drink in the Billiard room at Raffles. We choose a bottle of Pol Roger $158. Sorry was the reply we don't have it,the waitress suggested another one Billecart Salmon, we waited 10 minutes while other customers whom came in after us were served ( strange I thought) then the waitress... Be amazed at the wide spread of food upon entry; a lot of varied appetisers to choose from, followed by seafood bar, hot dishes, premium meats and desserts. The live stations whipping up salmon with caviar, and the sea urchin dish was da-bomb. Restaurant was full-housed during the Sunday brunch, and there could be more service staffs to cater to... Food is ok. I find their spread getting a little boring. Service is ok..like their ambience, which is unique. Find it a little tough to climb up and down just to go toilet...

Products are really tasty, food is fantastic (cheese bar included) and last but not least the people for the service are lovely. Within the famous Raffles hotel. Visited for a friends birthday. The buffet choice and quality was excellent. The atmosphere oozed history and colonial times.

This is my favourite Bar at Raffles, It use to be the long bar until they changed it. The only problem is it is not open until 5pm. This Bar has real class written all over it. If you want to have a nice quiet drink in a very classy Bar then this is the Bar.

We visited this restaurant, within Raffles Hotel, for Sunday buffet brunch. This is a champagne brunch (price including unlimited champagne, wine beer etc). This was perhaps the highest quality buffet I have ever experienced - everything from foie gras, salmon, fresh seafood, a large variety of hot dishes, a good selection of cheeses etc.etc. Impossible to sample everything but all... Once a billiard hall, Bar & Billiard Room is today a bar that offers some 400 hand-selected whiskies, with many limited editions and labels imported just for this establishment. Among them include ones from Scotland, Japan and the US. Lending its influence to the cocktail menu, the single malts have also gone on to inspire whisky-based beverages. On Fridays and Saturdays, live jazz performances offer a touch of old world glamour to the setting. Come Sunday, the champagne is popped and becomes an invaluable addition to the buffet brunch. Expect a spread featuring fresh seafood, cold cuts and signature carving favourites. Regarded as the oldest existing bar in its original location in Singapore, Bar & Billiard Room is an institution within Raffles Singapore. It occupies a standalone building built in 1896, and was the first in the country to have a lady bartender stirring up a storm in the 1920s. Inside, chandeliers hang down from the high ceiling and the floor tiles are replicas of the original. One of the five original billiard tables from the turn of the century can be found there, where guests are welcomed to play a round or two. Picture windows look out to the surrounding thick foliage, interrupted by elegant cast-iron frames that compose the terrace.
