We ate dinner here 2x. My group liked most of the food here. - Baked Mussels (taste was just so-so, and the mussels did not taste fresh. 1st time we ate was ok, 2nd time has a weird smell , maybe because it wasn’t placed...on ice when we saw it on display) - Adobong Kangkong (hubby liked it) - Adobong Sitaw (too salty for my taste - Grilled tangigue (nothing special. Just a regular fish with spices/salt) - Seafood (Tanigue, shrimp) Sisig (taste was great but too spicy for me. Their menu didn’t indicate that it’s spicy) - Fresh Mango shake (disappointing that there was no green mango shake, but this ripe mango shake is a great alternative) - Adobong pusit (wow! This is the freshest pusit/squid I’ve eaten. I didn’t know that the freshness made the dish sweet and very savory.) There wasn’t any Blue Marlin when we ate, we would have enjoyed that. Food: * 3 star Service: * 4 star (nobody checks on you when eating and ask how’s the food, but servers/staff were very helpful when asked or if one calls their attention) Ambience: * 2 star (no A/C but if one’s ok with it, then good. I do prefer A/C so I knocked off a few stars). I can hear the water hitting the shoreline though, so I find that good and relaxing) Cleanliness: * 3 star (not the cleanest restaurant I have ever eaten in) Restroom: * 2 star (there’s water, toilet flushes, but ran out of toilet paper when I tried to use it. Soap inside the dispenser was watered down)More

Service - 2/5 The service was bad. I think because we’re Filipinos and they took my food away after serving it to me without an explanation. I ordered Spanish Style Crab but I believe I was served Chili Garlic Crab. I also specified I do...not like spicy and I would like to have the spiciness level lessened but they served me an overcooked crab with a pile of chilies. Quality of Food - 1/5 We also ordered Oysters. This is my first experience that I had to spit out oysters out of my mouth. They were so UNFRESH! I am glad I didn’t eat anymore or else I might have had food poisoning. 🤮 We also ordered Spanish Style Crab but was served a different food. The Crab was overcooked and not fresh. 🥲 My partner ordered Fish Fillet ala Jojo but we were so dismayed that it didn’t look like in the menu. It was such a downgraded version. It was missing olives and capers! For 350 pesos we were served 1 slice of fish with sauce and onions. 😂 Over-all: 1.5/5 It’s just bad. For the price of 1,650 THIS IS SO NOT WORTH IT. Just go to other places.More

If you don't want to mingle with the large and noisy crowd, they actually have an adjoining one beside the resto. Just head out, transfer next door, and right there, peace and quiet. Ordered their chop suey, some shrimps and soup. They taste great, just...like a home-cooked meal that your grandma used to make. I would suggest this place if you are looking for some home-cooked meal, without the other bells and whistles other restos advertise and mask their food with other spices, etc. I'd come back here, if I return to El Nido.More

Delicious seafood- so delicious in fact that we ordered the same dish; spicy chilli and garlic shrimp, immediately after eating it & then went back the next night for more! Lovely staff and great fish and seafood all laid out at the front of the...restaurant for you to see. Would highly recommendMore

we came here apps one nite , then dinner then lunch. We ordered fried calamari with beers for sunset. The calamari was succulent tender with a crispy coating ,perfectly seasoned. Before leaving for the airport we had a wonderful lunch with steamed LapuLapu with lemongrass,...huge mussels with ginger broth and baked clams. The fish was very fresh and the mussels broth was delicious. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food.More

My friends and I visited Angel Wish on Jan 4th. We ordered shrimp coconut, squid coconut and a grilled squid. The food took over 1+ to arrive and we all got a very bad food poisoning after! My friend felt sick only 30 mins after...having finished the food and we spent 1h in another bar helping him to get better. My other friend and I felt sick the day after with terrible stomachache, fever, diarrhoea and vomiting. The food was ok overall. We are not exactly sure what caused the food poisoning; we think it was the grilled squid, but we can’t be sure. Overall I would not recommend this place at all! Ruined 3 days of our holiday.More

I’ve been looking for a cocktail for 2 nights already and I’ve seen it here my favorite Weng Weng!! It’s a combination of 5 different alcohols / spirits. I really like it. Thanks to kuya Bartender.. He made a nice drink for me. I also...ordered kinilaw.. Love the hotness of the chillies. Foods are quite expensive from the other resto but they might give you an edge to taste. I hope to try their other foods..More

Food was great and delicious. Fairly priced compared to the other seafood restos you would find in El Nido Town. The food were served a bit late. Took about 30mins since we went during dinner time. If you are willing to wait a little longer...for your food, this place is not bad at all.More

Had the pinoy carbonara here and it was disappointing. It was served neatly and cutely in a baked dish but the taste was underwhelming. They also charged so much for a watermelon juice which was so small in portion. The seats were uncomfortable and dirty...with sand. But there were many locals eating there I suppose they came by reputation sake. They seemed to enjoy the food. The place was untidy, noisy and sandy. Some flies as well. Hot too. I wouldn’t recommend to foreign tourist as it’s overpriced and there are more enjoyable comfortable places.More

As I had a bottle of wine at the hotel, I ordered shrimp (prawn) for to-go. I don't know what kind of sauce it was but it was a bit spicy and so delicious. I wish I could have dined out there rather than to-go....The location is great as it is beachfront. It is a 2 storey building. You won't miss it as they usually display fresh seafood on the street.  The prawn costs 350 pesos but I was charged 367, I think it is tax or something. When I had a hamburger at Manila Airport, the cafe also charged the same % of tax or service charge to the hamburger. I didn't go up the second floor but as far as I could see the ground level, this place isn't a fancy place. Still it is a bit pricey. Considering the great location, it is OK. The prawn I had was really good anyway. I will try another dish the next time I go backMore

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! FIND ANOTHER SEAFOOD PLACE! We ordered baked mussels and it was probably not kept in its best condition. It was probably not fresh and/or stored the worst possible way. We are still here in El Nido and so worried we might miss...everything because of this restaurant serving bad food. We are so nauseuos and we are thinking of going to the hospital now. We are both stuck in bed now vomiting and having the worst diarrhea ever.More
