Very good food!

We ordered a selection of sushi and tempura, which we thought was very tasty. It was fresh, good quality and well priced. Service was also very good and accommodating. Great location with balcony overlooking one of main El Nido streets to watch the world go by.

Amazing food and great vibes

That was some good ramen! Loved the maki too. Great service - staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and the food came out in less than 5minutes. Very quick considering the restaurant was almost packed. Just some great vibes all around. Definitely drop by here!

Excellent food and service

Me and my fiancée walked in on Monday evening around 19. Place was soon packed . We sat outside on the balcony and enjoyed scenes of El Nido nightlife while eating. We had Osaka Sushi, Deep Fried Chicken and thick Japanese noodles with pork. Food and service was excellent. Place is run by a fellow from Osaka. We met him afterwards, a kind man, passionate about serving authentic quality food from his home town.

Sub par sushi

Skin was left on nigiri sushi, really affected the texture of the experience. For the Philippines I’m sure it’s “good” but they are charging North American prices. Definitely not the high quality fish they are advertising

Thank you for coming to Osaka Castle El Nido. Im sorry that you didn't satisfied with our services. About price, where were you? You were in El Nido, Philippines where can get anything for Japanese restaurant. We're importing 90% stuffs from Japan. Many expenses that airplane and transportation from Japan which cost very high. I appreciate if you understand about that. Thank you

The food was okay. The karage was just fried chicken at its best - it was the wrong consistency and batter. The only cocktail they serve is frozen pineapple with sake and it was extremely weak in comparison to other restaurants. Despite all this, it was actually the service that disappointed us the most. We asked for water 3 times and after almost 30-40 minutes at the restaurant and finishing 2 qppetisers already, we finally received our water. The restaurant was not busy and had around 8 customers to 6 staff at the time, which should be manageable. However, one of the waitress was too busy on her phone. We’ve eaten in so many great places in Palawan so far, this doesn’t even come in the top 20 favourite places.

One mix of tempura (is not tempura) vegetable and shrimps One assorted sushi, really poor. One edamame, a lot of salt. I live in Australia, spend less and eat more, with better quality.

Thank you for coming to Osaka Castle El Nido. Im sorry that you didn't satisfied with our services. about price, you're high expectation of El Nido, Philippines. In Australia or Japan, we have all stuffs so could serve cheaper price but, Osaka Castle is buying 90% ingredients and stuffs from Japan. Overall, the price isn't high. It's fare. If wanna eat Japanese with cheaper price just eat in Japan or your country please. Thank you

Very disappointing!

Expensive and not authentic Japanese food. We did not enjoy the main courses (Yakisba and Okonomiyaki) and even left food on the plate (which is something we hardly ever do). The edamame were cold, which we expected to be warm. The service was rather poor: we were offered a glass with ice and lemon when we had already drank our cans. When asking for the bill our waitor said he would clean the other tables first... but overall and otherwise friendly. The sashimi on the other hand was very fresh and tasty.

Best Ricebowl in town!

The food was very delicious! It was freshly made from the chef personally. When we finished our food, the chef came to our table and asked how the food was. Very thoughtful and super nice! The employees were very helpful and kind.

Best Japanese Food in El Nido

A mixture of Japanese and Sea vibes! Try out their Signature Ramen which is unlike any ramens, its not salty like the famous ramen houses in the main cities and boasts a rich and porky broth that will make you want to slurp more! We paired it with Salmon nigiri and ordered some Takoyakis (octopus) for side dishes which is very unusual because we are used in ordering gyozas as side dish. But the Nigiri didnt disappoint as it blends really well with the Sea vibes. Wash everything with a couple of beers and for sure youll get a goodnight sleep and a boost of energy for tomorrows activities!

Fantastic Japanese food !

Thoroughly enjoyed all the food, we had edamame, salmon spicy, pork ramen, takoyaki and tuna sashimi. All the fish was super fresh and amazing flavours in the ramen and takoyaki. Staff were amazing, really good little spot this, definitely worth a visit if you like Japanese food !

I had dinner quite a few times at this lovely place. Amazing japanese food and excellent staff! It is a bit pricy but totally worth the money. The quality of the food is outstanding, especially the raw fish always very fresh.

Whatever you order here you won't be disappointed! If you love Japanese food you gotta try osaka castle while you're in el nido. Katsu don, ramen, spicy salmon poke bowl... Damn they're all so tasty, fresh, and authentic. 100% recommend.

Great food and staff

Unbelievable tasty food, it was hard to choose from all the tempting dishes but everything we got was super delicious. The staff gives extraordinary service and the owner is a cool dude from Osaka which is very friendly and super nice. We would really recommend this place, it’s 10/10.

Very tasty food. Fresh fish. Very nice staff and good-natured host. I recommend poke bowl with spicy salmon and sushi dragon.The mu dined here all the time. Because they were confident in the quality))

This is not only the best ramen in El Nido, but one of the best I have tried so far(I live in Asia). Really light, with sesame, the meat is lean and the taste is amazing. The sushi was also very good, the service, the speed. Totally worth it
