Horrible experience? Yes ! I came with my Latino friend to let her try Russian food. A waitress said for Russians it’s not allowed to enter! I was so shocked! First of all, I’m from Kazakhstan! And whatever is happening between Russia and Ukraine. I...am against a war general. But you cannot treat everyone the same bad! What did I do to this Ukrainian family so that they don’t let me eat? This is closed mind mentality and it’s more evil from their side. When the owner/manager came out, she didn’t care. And on her face was written- like you both bit**es go away from here. Disgusting mentality to me! Even if I was Ukrainian I would feel the same disgusting way! You can’t treat all the Russians from all the countries the same!More

We come with my wife to this place. And the first question from the guy who brought as a menu was: where are you from? I said- Russia. And he said that they don’t serve for Russians and ask us to leave.

The food was great! Staff was courteous and the ambiance was homey. Would love to try it again. I highly recommend the fish nalyskyky with pesto sauce. 🫶💗

We had borshch, varenyky and cheburek. Everything tasted very good. The craft beer was especially delicious. We tried every sort and Pale Ale was our favourite

Not into Ukranian food served anywhere other than Ukraine. So, wasn't tempted at all. After over a week drinking water as the local multinational crap isn't worth drinking, came to get a pint (or 2) of craft beer. Of the 3 on offer, only the...IPA satisfied. That said, it was (relatively) expensive. Would have liked more hops in the flavour. In other words, if I was at home I would give the place a miss. But, as it's the only facility in El Nido that google asserts is serving craft beer it had to do. The music is sometimes great.More

Wandering, parched, through El Nido Town offers countless opportunities to have a beer - but finding an artisanal (and extraordinarily good) legit microbrewery seems like a fever dream. But there it is: Boodmo Brewery in Odessa Mama Kitchen - and oh lord is it good!...We did not try the food - but the beers are phenomenal. We tried both the Pale Ale and the IPA and came back for more of both. If you’re even on Palawan Island in the Philippines and feel the need of a great Ukrainian beer (I know) rest assured, you’ll be beyond pleased.More

Boodmo is a craft brewery at Odessa Mama restaurant with a simple menu and a choice of 5-6 craft beers. The pale ale was particularly good!

Traveling is all about trying different food, right? Than you have to stop by Odessa Mama. In a tropical country it's hard to find any real fresh cheese - this is the place where you get homemade cottage cheese in a delicious dumpling or self-made...fresh bread. And the best thing is, the menue keeps changing and growing. Come again!!!More

Worth to try! Ate the nalesniki (super good taste, with honey and cottage cheese), vareniki (had no with chicken liver, so chose with cottage cheese and herbs - also good), cheburek was average taste. They were sold out with borch soup. Btw. The place is...open to the street, so local dogs comes in and out. Same with cockroaches .. :)))More

Me and my boyfriend decide to try Odessa Mama, cause I want to taste dishes of my home country Ukraine so far away from motherland. We were very excited about this, but restaurant left a mixed feelings. When we ordered dishes from waiter, I told...that I'm from Ukraine and ask that I'm interested to meet owners of the restaurant. Waiter told me that they are here if I'm interested I could go to the end of the restaurant by myself and talk to them (a bit frustrating and obviously no one come to meet us). Regarding food, it was quite good, we ordered borshch, golubtsi and vareniki. Borshch was a bit tasteless, but with bacon and garlic bread it was fine. I could highlight craft beer, that is delisious, especially IPA. But the bad thing is that after this dinner almost immeadiately our stomachs got upset and we should urgently look for the restroom. For this reason think twice before you will go to this place.More

For those who really miss Eastern European food and draft beer - Odessa Mama would be a perfect place. I couldn’t stop ordering things which were so badly missed in travel, and all I had tasted, was like at home. Special highlights - varenyky with...potatoes and mushrooms, homemade yogurt and beers.More

It was good to visit this place just to see what they are offering. Microbrewery beer is good but does not match with food menu they offer. Very limited menu with awkward selection to match their beers. Ukrainian food does not represent Odessa’s food .,...since they call themselves as Odessa mama, what is a meting pot of Russian, Ukrainian, and other cuisines from Mediterranean Sea. Vareniky, dumplings, were just ok. Chebyreki on menu really strange to see. Not Ukrainian food. Oh well, try for beer but not food. I wish owners would look at the menu and see what they can do about it. Place is empty. Wish you good luck !More

There's no real atmosphere here for whatever reason, maybe because people aren't fully sold on the microbrewery idea. I dunno. Anyway the beer is OK, IPA would be my pick of the bunch and a fair price for what it is.. At 200PHP a 'pint'...(I say pint but it's not, it's maybe a US pint.) All that said, this is the best beer you'll get in El Nido.. If you're unfortunate enough to be in the town, you may as well drink here. It's safer than drinking the water.More

Get the pale ale or the IPA. The dry stout was sort of bland. Terrible food, though, which sucks because I want to support microbreweries. I love Ukrainian food and now I'm not sure if I do anymore.
